Lots of jobs available:
Newcastle? Sunderland West Ham Derby Brentford Sheff Utd Blackpool ... Real Madrid
Will Newcastle really stick with Carver after the debacle of the last ten games? Will Big Sam jump straight back in at a Sunderland or a Derby? Will Moysey be tempted to come back to the Prem? Will Raffa get the big one... Blackpool?
Who's for where?

Sunderland would be daft not to chase Allardyce in my opinion. Don't know about Newcastle, McClaren is probably nailed on and I'm not really sure who else there is. Ashley said he was willing to spend money so maybe that might attract a bigger name. Bilic will more than likely go to West Ham although he's hardly set the world alight with Lokomotiv and Besiktas. Brentford will appoint a foreigner not many have heard of, probably the Dutch fella from Excelsior. Not sure about Derby, I think Clement is favourite but obviously a bit of a risk. He probably deserves his chance now as number 1 though. No idea about Sheff Utd. I don't really think it matters who takes over at Blackpool, it'll have to be someone absolutely desperate for work with an ego way above his ability... Lee Clark will obviously go to Madrid. (nailed on to be Rafa in reality)

(nailed on to be Rafa in reality) Despite his short stay at West Ham he was always pretty popular with the fans, this might buy him and the club sometime, as the West Ham fans were pretty hacked off with Allardyce. Bilic comes across as a pretty amiable kind of guy in person form what I've seen of him on TV.

Hasn't Phil Parkinson been heavily linked with Sheffield United but it wouldn't surprise me to see Lee Clark popping up there if I'm honest as he knows League One pretty well and could handle the pressure that the Blades fans would put on him. McClaren to Newcastle, Ancelotti to West Ham, Alardyce to Sunderland, foreigner to Brentford (they'll get relegated next season), Blackpool to appoint from within and Derby to try and get Karl Robinson if Paul Clement doesn't come off for them.

Yeah I think he's very popular with fans there but with it being their last season in the stadium they're going to want to have a good season and I'm not sure he's done enough at club level to show he'll be able to do that. Did alright in patches for Croatia and he does seem like a decent fella though, not sure what his style of football is to be honest but I'm presuming he likes his teams to try and play a bit.

And now Watford appoint their fifth manager in a year. Watford: Quique Sanchez Flores replaces Slavisa Jokanovic www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/32958880Watch out though, Football League - he's not black! I wonder if they interviewed a BME candidate? We'll never know ...

Seconds away from winning the league too.

Harsh on Jokanović IMO. Seconds away from winning the league too. Quite simply priced himself out of the job, it would seem. Greedy. Now, if he'd been managing a team in the Greedy League he'd have had a better chance. Oh, wait a minute ...

He was only on a short term contract so I don't think he had much to bargain with.
All the cards were in Watford's hands so to speak.

By the way, Pipes - I hope you're pleased that I dragged up this thread rather than start a new one specifically about Watford. (Watch someone else do that soon ...)

if Watford employ frank Maloney as manager and sign Morrison because he can 'clean up at the back' with lee clark brought in as director of communications and media, they might warrant a new thread?

Advocaat is staying at Sunderland, he is hoping things are gonna snowball from here (I'm sure we've had that joke before) and Benitez takes over at Real Madrid.
