Sorry to create another Leeds thread but think this one deserves a mention. Steve Head (good name for the job) has been sacked after only five days. He was appointed by Adam Pearson, signed the contact and went on a pre booked family holiday. When contract passed to Cellino he said 'Where is he?' Pearson explained the situation so Cellino ripped up the contract saying 'He should be hard at work.'

Utterly amazing that anyone with a couple of ounces of the grey matter goes to work for Signor Cellino.
However much some of our "owners" have seemed like total a/holes at the time; none of them can hold a candle to the last two high profile owners that Leeds have had...

I was told that Pearson took a call from the new Wednesday owner(s) before the first game of his tenure telling him to tell Gray what formation to play.
And from that frying pan, he leapt in to the Elland Road fire (no doubt with ambitions to engineer some sort of takeover in the future, though he's going to have to find someone with about £100M to even get Leeds back to where they were pre meltdown)

Can't understand why Pearson doesn't stop fannying around and bung some wedge our way.

As an alleged Town fan Pearson sure must have some good compartmentalisation skills.

I've posted on here before how I know that and many other things about Leeds, but I don't keep going on about it. Strange that a guy so far away could be so close, but family is family.

I missed this Pearsongate thing so it is quite interesting because I do recall Pearson maintaining this Town-fan front to the media at the time and I can even recall people referring to him as a Town-fan as far back as 2000 when he couldn't have had any motivation to encourage this falsehood!

His duplicity might stem from the fact that he was born in both Harrogate and Batley, apparently. That would confuse anybody ….

David Peace is another shite, pretend Town fan. When he was promoting that tepid movie adaptation of his The Damned United novel a journalist asked him about the upcoming Town vs Leeds game and he came out with this squirming, equivocal - nuts shrivelled up- "a draw would be a good result" type answer - the worthless tosser!
