Its 14 years ago today since 16 year old James Vaughan became the Premier League's youngest scorer, and he still holds the record.

Bumped into Dick Krzywicki at a Jasper Carrott gig on Tuesday, what a smashing chap he is - great to talk to him about the Ian Greaves promotion team. I noticed that Frank Worthington didn't look too good at the Leicester game last Saturday.

Went to Crawley v Notts County yesterday. Notts had three players connected with Town:
Ryan Schofield - sorry to say Crawley’s goal should have been saved by him. Did a bit of a Hamer and let the shot go under his arms and it was nowhere near the corner. To be fair, his view may have been partially blocked. Other than that did well, made a couple of good saves in the second half and his kicking was good. Looks like he needs to bulk up a bit.
Jon Stead - still looked handy at L2 level, formed part of an ancient front two with Town nemesis Craig Mackail-Smith who scored Notts goal. You can’t fault CMS’s enthusiasm. Never stopped trying. Jon Stead was subbed 10m into the second half when Notts centre back was sent off, to be replaced by......
Elliott Ward - remember him? All tan, quiff and designer stubble. Marshalled Notts defence and led their time wasting, much to the anger of their own fans.

On this day in 1923 The great Jimmy Glazzard was born. 2nd top goal scorer in history. Our daughter was born on his JG 's birthday i.e 23/4 . It is St Georges Day. Shakespeare was born and died on 23/4. I was actually saw him play in his last season for us ,although I was only a youngster, then he became our Green Grocer. You could not have met a nicer man. He and his wife were a lovely lovely couple. I also was friends with his daughter. Sadly their boy died far too soon .

I saw Ward shopping in Harvey Nicks. manchester ! Who the chuff is Elliot Ward? When did he play for Town? I don't recall him. On 9 September 2015, Ward signed on loan for Championship club Huddersfield Town for an initial period of a month.[26] He made his Town début in the 2–0 loss against Cardiff City on 12 September. He played five games, before returning to Bournemouth, due to a knee injury. Following recovery from the injury, Ward rejoined the Terriers on 7 December for a second loan spell until 28 December. However, he returned to the South Coast on the conclusion of this loan without being included in a match-day squad in his second spell
