Something I've been wondering. How come Bradford have a star on their shirt and we only have 3? Surely we should have 4.

Its a shame these massive crowds they are getting means they're taking all our best players from us.

Bradford is a very big city, population-wise it should really be selling a lot more at a proper price.

For aprox' the 6th biggest city in Britain, it hasn't really ever done anything football-wise, probably their low percentage of football fans would be better supporting Town or Leeds.

You mean Wigan got to a cup final and actually turned up, rather than playing out the most humiliatingly one sided none-event in cup final history?

Would it be worth dean giving away a 3 or 4 thousand season cards just so we get a bigger average than them YET AGAIN? Naaaah. I was gonna say, to keep them in their place. But the league table does that well enough. you wouldnt get 18,000 at the pinklink/gayfarm or whatever yer call it to watch somebody play in a kit that looks like a tesco carrier bag ,

See, Bradford have been doing innovative things to get people there for a few seasons now; it helps build crowds, it gets people talking, gets a bit of a buzz around the city (gets people involved) and it means that, however mocked, if a kid goes at 7/8/9 on a dirt cheap ticket, even if they stop for a while, eventually they may well go back, or go with their kids.
I can't belittle the fact that the club are trying to buck a fairly obvious trend of ticketing decline.
There are lessons Town could learn in this, too.
However, an innovative season ticket policy is not an excuse to act like a bell-end. It doesn't matter if there's 25,000 to see Bury or 5,000, it's the results and performances that matter. Recent cup runs have been great, but eventually the league form needs to catch up.
I wish them well, but stop being dicks about it*

Well said, nice to see a sensible and objective post on the subject. Unfortunately there are always the twinny type twits that exist to lower the level heh.

Did you know that leeds united and Colchester United deliberately copied our kit in honour to our club? The only people honouring YOUR kit are kids throwing up.

This idiot is gonna be around for a while. Bradford are gonna be doing cheap season tickets for a few more years yet from the looks of things and he doesn't really strike me as having much intelligence, so I think we can safely predict he'll be on here every week crowing about their 19000 attendance against Colchester. Can we just ban him now, otherwise this forum is gonna seem like its on a bloody loop every week.

In fact, we're gonna be plagued with them. Its gonna be the proudest time in their history, getting higher crowds than Town. It doesn't happen very often, so I think any that come on bragging about their attendances need banning quickly.

Sell them at our prices and the number would soon drop. Anyway, they might sell (ok, give away for free) loads of season tickets, but they're still only in L1. Not exactly got them fighting for promotion to the PL has it?

I've heard Bradford Council have partially funded the tickets as a cleansing project to get the sh*t off the streets of the City so the Arndale centre will be devoid of Neanderthals on a Saturday afternoon twice a month.

Strange policy to do cheap tickets every season. Costs of policing and stewarding will be sky high - relatively for Bradford. If they actually have a good league campaign - unlikely due to a war chest of practically zero - the glory hunters that would have got down to the Parade and paid 20 quid have already shelled out their fiver or whatever it costs and when the prices are finally hiked back to average for the league sales go back to 5k the average figure for Bradford.

You can't really try to take the piss out of our kit when your kit is so much worse (well, ok, you can, but only if you're a buffoon with the IQ of a stapler.......so you in other words, obviously).
