The fact it's only been done 3 times in last 20 odd years speaks for itself I m o Ok 30 between them. Think Afobe used to miss more than he scored for us - decent player though. Yeah two decent players Wolves should be a force

Honestly think Wells could easily get 20+ next year.
What was is 14 this year? Think of all the missed sitters including 2 penalties at home to Fulham, had at least 2 disallowed goals that were in fact onside, there's 18 that should have been already.
The fact he is still learning his trade and improving, and with our squad getting better 15 for Wells this season should be an absolute minimum (barring injuries, of course).

As many on here pointed out, Afobe is too slow and not a natural finisher and will never play above league 1 level. 13 goals in 21 Championship games for Wolves since signing in January would suggest otherwise!

Who the hell is Guy Whittingham? Never heard of him! Where were you in the 90s? Pompey and Villa forward, think he manages in the lower leagues now.

Bookies placing Afobe as favorite for top goalscorer in championship next season with Rhodes as a very close second.

Having a 20 goal a season striker gives you a better chance of promotion from the Championship than having a 30 goal a season striker!

Had a tenner on Rhodes at 10/1 a couple of weeks ago!

Adomah, tomlin, Clapton, leadbitter but most of all Downing supplying Rhodes at boro if it happens would be my pick for a 30 goal striker. Bags of possession and downing will be lethal at this level.
Having said that I doubt it'll be done.
Jelavic at hull will be up there. Austin if he stays at QPR perhaps.
Both Vaughan and wells are very capable of 20 if they have injury free season, but they won't.

I'm sad enough to look it up: Glenn Murray Lee Hughes Guy Whittingham So yeah, pretty rare. A fair few 29s in between, though. Well, that's that game killed.
