Just wondering which season ticket holder lives the furthest from Huddersfield and travels to all the home games . Do we have season ticket holders based abroad that go to the games ?

Bristol-194 miles. I will admit that last season I went to fewer home games than I have ever done. This in the main was due to the insane amount of roadworks on the M5 & M1. On almost every occasion driving up there last season I had to go through Chesterfield (which was also rammed)to try and skirt the 22miles of roadworks on the M1.I used to leave Bristol at 10.30 and be in Huddersfield for 1.30 no problem. The average journey now is over 4 hours and I tend to leave at 9am which makes it a long day.I still managed 22 games overall. As with most on here the enjoyment of away games generally far outstrips that of home games especially when I can get on a train, meet friends and have a beer.Roll on QPR, Fulham, Brentford away.

There was a bloke interviewed on Radio Leeds last season, he was a season ticket holder living in South Africa, Johannesburg I beleive. Donated his tickets to a charity for the games he wasn't getting to.

That's pretty impressive going BristolTerrier .With you on those M1 roadworks , that 50 mph average speed section is a right pain .

The 22-mile stretch of 50mph on the M1 from Chesterfield to south Sheffield is a right pain in the 'arris! Wouldn't mind, but when first it began (about Aug 2013) it was due to be finished in Spring 2015, but since the turn of the year it's now changed to AUTUMN 2015. I'm fully expecting to have to still negotiate them right up to and beyond Christmas. I really REALLY feel like complaining - it's not as if there's ever any fecker working there on a Saturday!!!!! Grrrrrrrrrrrr!!!

Skippy also lives in Australia and makes it to a few games every season I bought myself a "Take Ten" for this year, although it's not really a season ticket, (unless you are a Bradford fan). See you soon, at Hull, Mr Shortbread... TTID

Grrrrrrrrrrrr!!! There's a reason for that Mansfield - If you look at the last couple of miles of central concrete barrier (Sheffield side), you will see that they are being removed and replaced, despite only being installed 18 months ago. Why? Because they used the WRONG mix of concrete at the time, and some had started to crack in winter, and others had shown telltale signs. So they've had to sledgehammer a two-mile section of them, and replace them all. Speechless. And as for Saturdays, try getting to work through them. I'll never get those hours back, put it that way.

I bet me and you were the happiest non Bristol City fans when they won the league, you because of travel and me because I got 11/1. I have to agree with a few others about night games, takes me around 70 mins to get to the ground from Pudsey which is 15 miles, just about make kick off.

Season card holder here from Lindford in Hampshire. Blue and White army too. Shortest possible route up is 231 miles. Got to 16 away too last seaon. I dont join in with debates but do pay attention to all of them including the doom merchants. Followed Town since before promotion to the old 1st division. Really looking forward again to our up and downs this season .Most deffinately TTID whatever.

Surely not many like me and the Mrs who are travelling over 300 miles from Paignton Devon mainly to watch the deportivo friendly. This trip will include a tour of Yorkshire for my Mrs who is not from the area , and accommodation in York

Not Town but I know someone through work who lives near Scarborough & is a season ticket holder at Brighton. I don't think she makes as many games these days but still goes up & down fairly regularly.
