Don't worry Shawsie, Sheriff's on the rag again. Complete overreaction, whoever gave him the keys to the gun cabinet wants their head checking. And the pondlife who are encouraging him. I'm still re-reading his post to double check I'm not misinterpreting it. It's that pathetic. Fans who post concern at getting beaten by grimsby, Rochdale and Brighouse are "hopeless". Wow talk about a power trip! Sheriff you are a moderator on a message board pal. Your job is to delete swear words and make the place look tidy, not to shove your opinion down people's throats and threaten bans when it differs to yours. Bring back Bolton terrier, he ran this place properly When you become an administrator are you no longer allowed to post your own opinions?

You shouldn't be able to ban those whom you might not necessarily agree with though. Sent from my SM-N910F using proboards

Sent from my SM-N910F using proboards I haven't banned anybody for not agreeing with me, it was a throwaway comment said to highlight how ridiculous some of the reaction was on here to last night's result, especially when you consider half of the people complaining weren't even aware it was the U21s that were playing.

It's painfully obvious from the tone of the post that the Sheriff is not being serious about banning people for being miserable on here. It was just an expression of irritation. If he banned people for being miserable, there'd barely be anyone left.....
Come on guys, let's not stir up unnecessary aggro over trivial, relatively innocuous things, save your energy for the season - I'm sure that even if we get promoted, Town will provide sufficient cause for you to vent your ire...

Believe me his opinion changed with the wind like the majority does. Football is an emotive sport and gives you highs aswell as lows. Take that emotion away and it becomes a bit boring all having the same opinions. Some are worried about our results and some aren't! Deal with it!

Sooooo anyway....
Did anyone look decent last night? Heard Senior had a good game?
P.S - Results mean shit, it's what we do come 3pm at on Aug 8th that counts, a lot of embarrassing overreaction on here, trust the men running our club. I'm fully confident that no matter what happens, we can get a result at Hull Tigers.

poor results gained by poor performances matter..they really, really have to...
waiting till we havent won a game in 12 before looking to put it right isnt our best tactic...

Looked very fit, getting up and down a lot at pace, good in possession, has a decent cross and also produced an outstanding goal line clearance. Not so sure about his long range shooting with his right foot though!

Don't underestimate Brighouse Town. As I was saying to Gary and Phil Neville ( oh and Neville Neville ), along with Paul Scholes and Nicky Butt in January when we saw off Salford City 3-1. You probably don't want to hear this, but they were all top blokes, signing autographs for the kids, and chatting to anyone in the vicinity. I was there mate. I thought Gary Neville came across as a nob to be honest the rest you mentioned were sound down to earth lads. Fair enough buckers. I was stood by the dug-outs, and just before half time Gary Neville was left on his own with a young lad, the rest I suppose had gone for refreshments. Had a bit of a chat, found him a pleasant bloke, not a hint of bigging himself up, I thought he was sound.

Oh, and on the Brighouse Town homepage it states "if you fancy a trial get in touch". Probably updated tomorrow with "unless you have been on Huddersfield Towns books" Irony or ignorance? More likely to be 'especially' rather than 'unless' There were 4 ex academy lads that I know of playing for Brighouse last night. No doubt they were well motivated! Neither..its called humour.
