Something Sean Jarvis said earlier this summer (don't ask me to find it) leads me to suspect/fear that this season's strip could be radically different. Don't know what that could mean, and I could easily be wrong. We've just got to wait and see but I'll be checking out DATM and the official website tonight for sure!
Personally, I hope the club adopts the KISS principle, keep it simple stupid, and avoid gimmicks like fading stripes and whatnot. Classic, plain blue and white stripes please Town, WHITE shorts (blue shorts are an absolute no no) and either white or black socks (personally I prefer black) and definitely not blue socks either. Personally I quite like the paler blue as it's that bit different to all the other teams in blue and white stripes (Wednesday, Brighton, Colchester etc) but I remember liking around 69-72 times when it was almost West Brom navy and white.

I suspect it'll be the same as Newcastle Uniteds home shirt but with black collar/sleeve edging and the stripes and lines across blue and white.

I guess I'm in between on the shade of blue. Personally prefer Royal Blue which is mid range. Certainly not anything as dark as West Broms. Oxford Blue is ok, but like too many others, and not really keen on the sky blue shade its developed into at the moment. In reality though if it's blue and white stripes just about any things ok, as long as it's not too dark which can look almost black. Ugh. PS. For those not up on colour shades, don't ask, just look them up!

Please not faded stripes. This season's kit has been a low point.

I've heard similar from Jarvis. Something's telling me it's not going to be a straight forward blue and white stripe. Unless it is simply the shade of blue that has changed. Would be very daring to go back to an early 60's style of plain blue or go down an Ipswich pinstripe style. I prefer the lighter blue for the same reasons mentioned above, it stands out from the Wednesdays, Brightons and Colchesters, but I don't see why they don't mix it up every now and again.

Hoping for something like the old pulse kit Along with last seasons, that is the worst Town shirt ever, stripes too dark and those blue shorts and socks, although it was a promotion winning season which redeems it a little.

Massive clue with the new season card shade of blue? Hope not, that's not 'Town blue' for me. They do seem to mix up the blue shades, the training range being a prime example, lots of it in a darker blue or the wrong shade of blue which just looks tacky imo. Fair enough mix it up with the colours but not different shades of the same colour! I guess we have Puma to blame for that and we're stuck with their blue although the new run out top or whatever they call it looks nice if not quite the right colour. We've not had a really nasty kit for a while (last years tried) so I guess we're due one unfortunately. Like someone else said just keep it simple and classic and you have a winner.

There's a reason we only did it for two seasons, it was generally hated! A huge sense of relief when we returned to stripes, whatever the shade.

I dont get this Tesco carrier bag business, surely any blue and white stripes can be said to look like one. Our light blue stripes are nowhere near the shade of their bags though. If the new kit is a darker blue it will make my choice a hell of a lot easier, away shirt here I come.

I don't know why they don't let the fans choose one of half a dozen designs as they did a few years ago. They'd surely sell more of them if the majority had chosen it in the first place.
