This narrative of "We need someone to save us from our wealthy benefactor Town-fan" is a bit troublesome to say the least. There were some awesome campaigns when we were skint, but more through vagary than design.

he started 7. His 5 sub apps probably added up to 1 more game in terms of minutes. Hardly a mainstay of the team that weve lost. He was a mainstay of the team that didn't lose .

Can we stop this "the moaning fans are the reason we are where we are" quite frankly it's nonsense.I am not generally negative, read my history of posts, but I am realistic and at the moment the doesn't have a clear direction. The fact we are all bickering is symptomatic of this. I was listening to 606 while driving this evening, on there was an Everton fan moaning, yes moaning, about Bill Kenwright. Now I am no expert on Everton but this is a club that has sustained top flight football for longer than any other, has competed in Europe and still people moan. On the same show a Chelsea fan, yes Chelsea - mildly successful over the last 20 years, moaning that Mourinho was in 3 season syndrom. Now are Town really hindered by negative fans more than other clubs? Of course not. There are a pocket who will never be happy, thus was it ever, there are some quick to complain, no kidding eh? But to say these folk are responsible for stopping the club progressing is hogwash. At the moment everything and everybody is flat and this needs to change. Completely agree!! Yes DATM is quite downbeat atm but some teams boards are like that ALL the time! You go on Ipswich's TWTD, everytime Ipswich loose there are 6-7 new 'McCarthy Out' 'Chairman's lost interest' threads - that's coming from a club no bigger than ours IMO. I bet if I go on Forest's now its in total meltdown...possibly Derby's aswell? If Dean and the club get's upset about what's put on here they really shouldn't! Going back on Ipswich, there team that finished in the play-offs last year cost them literally nothing. They have also invested in the youth and upcoming players and are now reaping the rewards (Bishop, Mings + many more). They had 10 years of mid-table Championship football and now seem to be on the up...we seem to be following the same path, it just requires PATIENCE.....and a good manager

So a few players are potentially being sold, and this obviously means the club is being sold and Dean is filling his pockets before he goes...
...I'm sure the potential new owners would be completely accepting of this being allowed to happen.

The club is and still remains for sale. I was right about Smithies and Butterfield, which should be the proof some of you asked for. There is a split at boardroom level.

Why is Dean Hoyle arguing with himself?

To be honest, Butterfield was almost a gimme.
I'd have been more impressed if you'd said Hammil was having his contract cancelled by mutual consent.

It's always been for sale providing the right person comes in and has the best interests of the club at heart and also providing DH feels the potential buyer can move it further forward than now, everything at Town has it's price. If any potential buyer cannot move it any further forward then it's a no deal.

Our board consists of one owner and 3 employees unless DH has come down with a bout of schizophrenia, then there is no split in the boardroom.

Great username - unrulyintern...
If all this stuff pans out as stated above then perhaps they'll become 'seekinglegaladviceintern'?
I love how on this board there are so many learned people who know the absolute facts about the club, financial position, transfer policy. I expect there are one or two on here 'in the know' but limited as to what they can say, whilst the remaining 99.9% is just wind & piss...

RE Financial Position and Transfer policy everyone knows what that is, it is well documented, particularly by Dean, isn't it ? Yes, there are bound to be a bit of 'wind & piss' on here, nature of the beast, fans forum, friends speak, Chinese whispers.... RE People in the know - Please understand these so called people will not know everything and only the things individuals want them to know.

Dean Hoyle:- Become somewhat disillusioned with life at Town. His family have been wanting him to sell for some time, and they will get their wish. With any potential sale, this may or may not include Canalside. Dean/his other company are the Landlord of Canalside. For the avoidance of doubt this 'asset' does not belong directly to HTAFC, and isn't in the clubs holding name. A potential sale could see us paying rent for the benefit of Canalside. There has been expressive interest from two separate party's, and I can confirm, one of the party's involved does not agree with DH valuation of the club. Chris Powell:- Very unhappy at town due to various failed promises by the board in relation to our recruitment. There were 4 'key' targets he had identified towards the back end of last season, and he only has one in Dean Whitehead. Chris did not make the decision to leave Alex out of the squad at the weekend, he was told that Alex wasn't available by the Chief Executive. There are various rumblings within the club and one or two 'senior' players have voiced their discontent at the sale of 'key' players without any 'established' replacement.
Interesting point regarding canalside. Dean openly admitting in today's examiner he owns canalside and a potential new owner has two option, either buy it or RENT. Not that the clubs for sale though

In fact the more I keep reading it.... So Canalside isn't a HTAFC asset ? If Canalside belongs to Dean, does the club in any way benefit from the revenue generated there ? Potentially paying Rent for Canalside, that would surely mean no financial benefit to HTAFC beyond Deans tenure ? I am sure he could recoup quite a lot of his s money put into HTAFC over the years by renting to us ?

Not that the clubs for sale though [/span][/quote] Read the final page of this. He doesn't. Those shares are owned by Hudds Town irrespective of who owns Hudds Town. He COULD potentially transfer the shares into his own name ahead of selling Hudds Town, in a similar fashion to how a previous owner ended up owning the stadium. We've still got our lime green scarves should that happen though?! I wonder if this is a sign talks are ongoing but a buyer wants to reduce price by removing Canalside from the deal. beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/company/07337291/filing-history/MzEyOTYzNTE0OGFkaXF6a2N4/document?format=pdf
