You mean you haven't already bought it.!!! You if you haven't ?? definitely should. Now I was a heavy smoker but not done so for 13 yrs. it does not bother me if others still do providing they don't do it when I'm eating. When Mansfield assembled his book it was not an issue.UTT.

Doesn't anyone feel it's wrong to promote a book using cigarettes in its promotion? No because they weren't as enlightened (geddit?!) back in the day. Who remembers PG Tips cards?

Memories! I also remember Players' coupons. You could exchange 100 for cash at some local shops. We'll be talking about Green Shield Stamps next

He didn't miss the odd 100 here and there I was more Embassy Virginia (red), Regal, B+H and Peter Stuyvesant (but when skint Sovereign and No. 10 - yuk!)I'm going to show my age now but I remember all the prices from my school days. Incredibly 10 cheapies were 9 1/2p. Regal were 12p for 10. Virginia were 13 1/2p and B+H and premium brands (JP Special, Rothmans and P Stuyvesant 15 1/2p. Then taxes came along.

Started at 15 round about the time I left school. Here's an age give away. Domino cigarettes, very slender and long, two or four in a pack, although some outlets would flog 'em one at a time for something like twopence, (old money 240p to the pound).

I hope so too,his contribution to charity through Datm sales will make him a hero to me In his own words 'Oh, and for those who want to know, I have almost 1400 of the original 2000 left. I seriously misjudged my market. Who'da thought I'd struggle to sell 2000 Town-based books since 2008?' With that many left to sell and a reduction in price from £6.99 to £3, I don't think the situation is as rosy as you may think.

It's a real shame that someone who maybe has a bit of clout can't get he club to let him sell them in the club shop.

Jeeez a tad miscalculated £3.00 is cheap enough now though and hopefully sales will improve as at this rate it'll be 2031 when he sells out

Trouble was it was at the clubs expense.
