Hogg has to start for me too. The amount of ground he covers is phenomenal.
4-4-2 team which clearly won't happen mind...
GK - Murphy RB - Whitehead CB - Hudson CB - Lynch LB - Davidson RW - Scannell CM - Butterfield CM - Hogg LW - Carayol CF - Wells CF - Vaughan
3-2 Town win.
Town goals - Butterfield, Wells & Carayol.
QPR goals - Austin & Smithies.
UTT

Hogg for me is one of our most important players. Doesn't do anything fancy or pretty but he does his job of being that engine closing down, chasing the ball, marking players, fight for the ball etc very very well. His first season with us was dreadful but let's hope for another improved one with less injuries! His pressing is invaluable, sometimes he does it single handedly. I hope we can improve on this as a team.

Can't see us keeping Austin out, great striker, should be in prem. Its a bit embarrassing for QPR that they still have him isn't it. he should be at a top 4 prem side

Well Scanz is licking his lips. Lol! I love the way action shots of footballers are always so ripe for Up The Arse Corner entry, should have a stickied thread imo. Thought Brighton got away very lightly this year - must have been too early in the season.

His first season with us was dreadful but let's hope for another improved one with less injuries! He was good in combination with Coady and Butterfield but I'm not sure in combination with Whitehead. Having said that they have controlled midfield for long parts of games this season.

He played there last season for boro - did ok and played there in the playoffs. Smith is out of his depth and craps his pants as soon as he gets to the half way line and checks back/sideways. Whitehead is not the long term solution but a safer bet now. Hoping we bring in a decent RB before the window closes.

Hoping we bring in a decent RB before the window closes. Smith might not be great but I think some of the criticism he gets is a bit unfair. I'd be apprehensive going forward if I was leaving Hudson behind me. Never seen Whitehead play at right back for Boro but I have seen plenty of midfielders skip past him as if he wasn't there already this season. If he's up against a tricky quick winger, I'm pretty confident he'll struggle like hell. Surely Cranie is the next obvious choice in a back 4?

Can't see Whitehead at right back - sat on the bench the better option, even better getting fitter on the training pitch
Cranie looked like a fish out of water at right back against notts county
i'd go vaughan and wells - in his 15 mins the other week he won more headers than miller all game. Clearly he wont ay 90 minutes but lets do the novel thing of going for them from the off. Miller has also had his shot on target for the month used up
I'd go
Scannell/ lolley if scannell not fit Hogg butterfield bunn Jv wells
About nil chance of that happening!
The Boro / ex torquay&lincoln man on the bench alongside whitehead.

Can't see us keeping Austin out, great striker, should be in prem. Just get Whitehead to knack him like he did Rhodes! Can't go today unfortunately, but I think if we play at a high tempo & get right up in their faces we can sneak a win going into the international break. 2-1.. Wells & Butterfield.
