Indeed, and I knew the answer before I asked it.Fact is, people sit where they sit because that's where they sit. There's no point in us getting upset that someone decides not to move. I'm far from upset. Just wondered why like-minded singers refuse to join in with the main bunch. I suspect you know the real answer to that, too! Or do they all have ageing dads they have to look after? Don't bother replying... I know your answer. !! Well I'm sure there is an element of cutting noses to spite faces, but the same question could be asked in the 80s/early 90s... Why did I stay on the main terrace when I could/should have come in the Cowshed?? The answer is I liked where I was, enjoyed the company, and thought it was better than the Cowshed (it was). PS... Don't worry, I'm not a stalker, I used to have a different username and I spent an enlightening hour in a pub in town in your company one evening before you headed down to Canalside.

Has anyone ever thought of bringing a megaphone in Ben. Quite a few German sides fans use them. Always seems to create a massive atmosphere Pozza has one that we are trailing. Actually worked really well yesterday. I have to be honest I was not a big fan of the megaphone and it felt really tinpot. Obviously that's just my opinion though I'm only 1 of a few hundred

Obviously that's just my opinion though I'm only 1 of a few hundred Megaphone not going to be everyone's cup of tea, we accept that. We know over use of it will probably piss folk off too,so we/I hope to use it as sparingly as possible (think I only used it a handful of timea yesterday) and only for certain songs. Yesterday it got a new song off the ground, so it's handy for stuff like that, especially the more European style songs, but for something like Smile A While it would sound ridiculous. Personally I'm always open to feedback, good or bad so I can tailor it's use for everyone and find that happy medium between effectiveness and annoyingness.

Obviously that's just my opinion though I'm only 1 of a few hundred I'll be honest I wasn't a big fan of it either. Mainly because we'd done well the first couple of games without it. But as Pozza has pointed out, it helps to get new songs off the ground especially the European style ultra songs that go on for a while. It will be in pozza's hands so it won't be fucked about with. It is important to gauge fans opinions because after all, it's the fans who make the south stand what it is. Not two knobs facing the crowd....

I knew that, Nigel. I also know you know that some are cutting off their collective nose to spite their face. Ps. Sorry to have outed you.

Who led the 'give us an H' in the first half? Was the megaphone used? I could hear whoever led it in the family stand upper.

New chants can be difficult to get if not near those that know it. The megaphone resulted in a loud rendition by most of the SS so I would say a success.
