Can't be positive now, dean looking abit stupid after saying he would not be sold. And 3.5 is a joke, should have been 5 million minimum

Pleased for him, and good business for us. Good business for us? Absolutely. To get 3.5 million for a player you paid 300k for is by anybody's definition great business. I am not saying a I am happy about the move but it keeps us on a financial footing for this season and next.

I do not think this is good, at all. Neither do I, you can't keep selling your best players. Butterfield could well be the difference in staying up and going down and if we go down that 3.5m will pale into insignificance.

Calm down chaps, we haven't had this confirmed, nor do we know the sale price if it is. We will not have sold Butterfield without a plan, so let's see what develops before we all believe we are relegated. Christ talk about over reaction, it's hardly the end of the story is it.

I'm more than happy to give DH and his team some flex on this. When Clayton left there was similar threads to this and others about how irreplaceable he was - then Butterfield and Coady came in.

Exactly. running a football club is a complex and expensive business. This is the only way we get real revenue, so when the opportunity arises you have to take it. I think the next week or so is going to be an exciting time.
