If we do sign this lad or are even trying to (or any winger) it would confirm there's no rhyme or reason to the signigns we do. Dont identify areas that need strenghtening just see someone we may be able to get so go for them Maybe we can get him cheap and make a few bob on him. This seems to be the thinking with our transfers instead of targetting the areas that need improving

It's another player who has played well against us in the past #junior Mendes lol
I can not see how a loan deal would benefit us on this one, we help sort his head out, change of scenery and all that, he finally kicks on and Forest sell for a larger sum than they would have ordinarily got.
We are crying out for a clinical finisher, I just don't get it! I hate to say it, but L**ds did a good bit of business with Wood.

Good points, but he would undoubtaly be an asset both on the field and in the market. Too much was expected from him at forest after hit first couple of games

Yes it's fair to say a lot was expected of him at forest, many players fail there and have to move on.
I just hope with Butters moving on, IF we are to play with whitehead and hogg sitting, maybe we might be able to utilise two wingers at home. Powells comments regarding Carayol being an impact player worry me, I wonder if they worry Carayol too?!

We are almost running two different businesses now. Not sure how to turn a profit on a season long loan.

Too lightweight. Off form. He's not the one to get us out of this mess.

I took Powell's comments as being in respect of the QPR game - Carayol had only been training with the squad for one day at that point. I may be wrong of course. However, it wouldn't surprise me at all if both Scannell and Carayol start the next game and are mainstays in the team all season - Carayol certainly looked very exciting in his cameo!

I have seen a fair few clips of Carayol over the last couple of years, he's just the type of player we need on the left, quick, technically good etc I really hope he gets a chance with us!

I've not seen the comments but i would be astounded if powell had said he'd signed a player just to be an impact player from the bench
Wouldn't make sense even if that was his intention.. as the player wouldnt take it too well

As I predicted. We waited until 15 minutes before the end to confirm a signing we didn't need just so they could say we got someone. This club is turning Into a fucking joke.
But he will get my support even if the board are now starting to lose it from me.

Is this the guy that Dean Hoyle thought he'd signed a couple of seasons ago when he let slip on a Radio Leeds interview?

So many wingers and he doesn't play anyone on the left
More wingers than defenders!

We wont buy him come end of season!!! he will play well and someone else will come in for him because Town will p*ss about regarding signing him( peter butler syndrome all over again ) either that or we get relegated ( both options for me )

Good player but not exactly needed.
Huddersfield Town have had 3 months to address their weakness in defence as well as replace Coady. Even by our standards, this window has been one big fuck up. To say I am disappointed is an understatement. Genuinely thought we would reinvest the Smithies money. Not spunk it away on loan players.

Another winger to sit on the bench unless Scannell gets injured. 5 wingers in the squad and we play with one, we needed anything but another winger.

We play with one winger. We've now got 5. Baffling approach to transfers this summer, spend money on players to loan them out, and just not play the rest. Apart from Davidson who looks ok to be fair. At the start of the season we looked a couple of defenders away from a good squad. Wouldn't know where to start now.

Another loan too. What happened to the Smithies money? And the Butterfield money?

Where are the 3 or 4 quality signings we were told to wait for yesterday ?
Go on say it... We always have the loan market.
How do we reinvest the smithies and Butterfield in the loan market ?
Jesus Christ.

Fans are being treated like mugs. Fans acting like mugs Bollocks!! "We needed to sell Smithies to strengthen the team" 3 loan signings later- 2 wingers and a cm and that's your lot. Worst transfer window I can remember as a town fan. When we are relegated in the summer I look forward to you blaming the fans for it.
