Arnie Sidebottom played for England after his spell with town. Ken Taylor played for England whilst playing for Town, in Otiums lifetime.

Thanks - great read. Dr No was considered too mucky for me to go and watch. I'd forgotten that he scored twice on his debut, or that Mike Hellawell was in the same squad. I was at Norwich when he scored his hat trick. We were on our holidays in Great Yarmouth (night bus from Heckmondwike) and my Dad took me over - probably my first mid week, night match under floodlights. We were most likely the only Town fans there! As a 17 year old I had no problem going to see that film lol. Seeing Jimmy Mcilroys name brings back memories from a couple of years earlier, Town must have been somewhere down south when I decided to get my football fix. Took a trip over to Burnley to watch West Ham and got chatting to a couple of Burnley fans, said I was looking forward to watching Jimmy Mac. One of them said "he's there" and ran 50 yards up the road to him saying "Jimmy, this guys come all the way from Huddersfield to watch you" a short chat later and Jimmys autograph gotten. Happy days.. Can't believe you've just lol'd.

As i posted on here in the past. In the mid 1990's i recommended 5 Swedish players to Huddersfield Town when i lived there, all were cheap, all 5 became internationals. The club itself has not produced 5 internationals in my lifetime . I think i know about football...as clearly most on here do. How on Earth is this current team better than any of the recent few years? Why does Slapps think they are a good, competitive team when i have not seen a single great performance in over 3 years? Captainclapper...thats why. ps Went to the Lebowski bar in Reykjavik, most bizarre and themed on the movie. In your lifetime you say? Bob McNab Dick Krzywicki Ray Mielczarek Erank Worthington Trevor Cherry Maybe he meant his made up life.
