More than any Town striker has managed all season. Can't we recall him and send donkey bollocks out on loan?

Nice one. Sent him out for experience, and he's getting it, meanwhile we have Huws.
Good work Dean Hoyle and co.

Scannell scored four Championship goals last year, care to recheck your stats? While we're at it, Miller had five Championship goals to his credit, not many for a season admittedly but Batteyford juniors may find him out of their league.

As we well know Jimmy, supernovak has previous for talking absolute garbage. Just because he's changed his name, doesn't mean he now talks sense. Nickhudd is a good example of that.

I notice that Grant Holt also appeared for Wigan in that game, as a 54th minute sub ...

I was on about January to January last year, but if you wish to twist my words at least use season instead of year in your response. Neither have scored this SEASON and are supposed to be our biggest attacking threats!

This forum is being spoiled by posters that shoehorn digs at specific individuals. These prats are more concerned about their opinion being proved right than anything else, even if it's a bad thing for Town!

From the first of January 2014 to the third of January 2015 Sean scored three goals. Twist that smart guy! EDIT....FWIW Sean has been disappointing this season so far, but to compare a striker playing in a lower league to a winger in this league is ridiculous.

Well done Huwula hoop. Huws is a far better footballer though. They play entirely different roles, Nick. How you can come to that conclusion is beyond me. And how many games have you seen Hiwula play, by the way... or Huws, for that matter?

It made everyone look bad.. If we get caught out whilst going for the game then fair enough, we dropped off and lost 3-0 and thats not... miller or davison or any other player wasnt the big problem on the day, the team and tactics were..

Do we have a recall clause in his loan? Will we need to with our current crop of strikers in such a rich vein of form?

I couldn't be bothered checking the stats, but knew I wouldn't be far off! Sean has been disappointing since his arrival (apart from a handful of games) most people see him as our biggest attacking threat, but his stats dont back it up, so ultimately over 3 years he has been poor. Patterson or Lolley would have much better stats after playing 3 years in that position and that's what i fail to understand about Powell's tactics. I admit he has improved his defensive work, but in an attack short of goalscorers, he needs to be contributing 10+ a season, considering his skills as well. Miller.... jeez. He will play 44 games and contibute 6-8 goals, Im afraid that's not good enough either, if he was laying it on a plate for nahki to score 20+ then fair enough, but he is even incapable of doing that! If I was in-charge, both would be impact subs nothing more, nothing less.

Paterson scored one goal in the Championship last season and no more a Championship right winger than Joe Lolley, so who Sean would be subbing off I've no idea. Sean will come good I've no doubt, he had a great season last year regardless of goals scored.

Looks to me CP has got scanz doing more defensive work which in turn is limiting his natural attacking ability where he draws players out of position creating space in the middle areas. as much as smith has got some criticism he did link well with scanz maybe this is causing the dip in form.
