Very confident on the ball, so composed and dribbles like a winger. Not seen enough of him defensively, particularly 1 v 1 against a good winger, as I've only seen him play once but looks like he should be an established prem player as a minimum and I wouldn't be surprised if he gets capped. Extremely impressive.

In all honesty I have loved watching us lately, but for me he has stood out as such a talent ! I think it is ace the way he drives forward with such confidence and just looks at ease on the ball. Yeah he loses it some times but what the heck he is trying. Defensively has done well and came up against Gray and Magahoma yesterday and thought all was well. In a nutshell 'Brilliant'

It's great to hear the praise the Huddersfield fans are giving him long may it continue.
Good luck for the season

We know a lot about left backs here. We put Murray Walace in there at your place on Boxing Day a couple of years ago.

I very much doubt you know that our chairman sent "manager at the time " Lee Clark to have a look at him whilst playing for Halifax .
I heard it mentioned on radio Leeds recently that Clark reported back saying that he thought Vardy had an attitude problem , and would not fit into his Huddersfield Team.
Bottom line is we like Chilwell ,but Vardy was not good enough.

Sugy there won't have been a lower league team that didn't know all about vardy when he was at Halifax

Don't know what Clark was thinking there is nothing wrong with vardys attitude he is the hardest working player I have ever seen at city. He spends hours on the training pitch trying to improve. Really hoped Chris Powell worked out for you guys he was really good player in our league one campaign and very good coachonce he retired that was also very popular with the playing staff

He did well here considering his circumstances, like he said, things change quickly in football and our board wanted a change in ethos. I'm sure he'll work again and do a decent job wherever he ends up. Ben Chilwell looks steady away defensively but something special when going forward. He went on a terrific run Saturday when it looked easier and probably more sensible to make a side way pass. Beat three men through sheer persistence and strength. His crossing in his debut was poor and he wasted a couple of chances because of it but this was much more improved yesterday. He can only improve and it's unbelievable to think he's this good at just eighteen.

Think this Webber bloke deserves plenty of credit for picking the lad out of Leicester reserves. ( and also for searching out Wagner himself)
