Sure will be. I hope some of the lesser known members of the team are there such as Fred Robinson or Bernard Purdie as well as all the more well known ones.

It's gonna be a cracking night out for us 40 somethings and above A lot of Town fans got their first taste of HTFC that season. Some of those players have not been bettered since either...or the manager

I was only a young nipper so had to take a box to stand on so I could see, happy days. We were lucky.....for about 3/4 seasons we barely lost 40 games combined and scored goals for fun. Buxton was an absolute genius and im hoping wagner is his reincarnation.

I'm sure I was told that everyone will be there (well all those that are alive and kicking) including the coaching staff. I'm hoping Kindon is on good form, because if he is he'll have the room in his pocket

My first town match was in 1990 so a bit late for this but I was given an old autograph book that day with Denis law and lots of other famous signatures in and the first name I collected myself was Steve Kindon didn't have a clue who he was but certainly do now. The 2nd one was Iffy A legend for different reasons

Can someone please ask Mick if he would have allowed his players to wear gloves (Then run to the back of the room before he explodes!)

His house was on the left heading towards Dewsbury roughly where you turn off to Ravensthorpe.

I went to the last reunion in 2005. Disappointed that the fans did not get a mention the whole night. We took 3 times as many away as we take today. The fanes were a big part of the success. We had Brian Stanton sat on our table, i reminded him of our drinking sessions in Bennys nightclub (Bury)! The best 10 grand Town ever spent.

Many happy memories - this was my first season supporting Town, as it was many...for me if it wasn't for Buxton and his team HTAFC would be a shadow of the club we are. In truth another Buxton is required for this generation...

Would love to have been able to attend this. Unfortunately for me I didn't see a single game that season as I was living in the States at that time and didn't come over. Typical! What a season to miss.
I'll never forget going to the store one Sunday to pick up the Philadelphia Enquirer and saw that Town had beaten Port Vale 7-1.
Just seen the comments about Dave Sutton. Great lad and a good captain. Apparently he runs his own garden centre near Southport, called Sooty's.

I've still got my 'Barralan' replica shirt from that season. It doesn't even get half way over my beer belly now. Not my first season watching Town by some way but probably the most memorable - the team names still trip off the tongue and yet I could hardly remember any of our teams since

Can someone please ask Mick if he would have allowed his players to wear gloves (Then run to the back of the room before he explodes!) I see it`s already been posted but I`m sure he wouldn`t even allow long sleeved shirts. Also heard he wouldn`t allow an electronic scoreboard or a clock because he didn`t want players clock watching rather than concentrate on playing.

Wonder what he thinks about red/orange/yellow/pink/blue/green/white football boots and those skin tight shirts players have on under their kit.
