We could do with some points tomorrow to get some momentum/good vibes back. Don't want to be learning from mistakes again next week. Up and at em - full throttle - 100%.

The goal was well taken, immediately in second half took an age when through against the keeper, volley from 8 yards out hit into the ground. I like Wells but right now I think he looks frustrated and fatigued and could do with a rest

In terms of personnel you'll be facing a fairly similar side to the one on Boxing Day, except we will in all likelihood be playing 433 instead of 352. We didn't do too much January business. The goalie Pickford was recalled. We resigned Sam Johnstone for a month who then went back to Man Utd, so now it's Anders Lindegaard in nets until the end of the season. Will Keane returned to Man Utd and was replaced by Callum Robinson on loan from Villa, who we had last season. The genuine additions to the side were Centre mids Ben Pearson and Liam Grimshaw from Man Utd on permanent deals. However Pearson is suspended and Grimshaw injured so neither will play on Saturday. Regarding the result I've honestly no idea what's going to happen in this one. So basically Man U reserves then. Sweet. Haha...well yes, pretty much so. As one of the lesser financially able clubs in the league we do rely on loans a fair bit, and when it comes to permanents, the only market where we can afford good young talent is Premier League U21 players who are surplus to requirements because they won't make it. In summer we couldn't even take Chesterfield's right back Darikwa after a prolonged chase and we couldn't take Bradshaw off Walsall in January, so young prem players is the only market we can realistically shop in unfortunately.
