It's just another way of circumventing FFP though. Main club signs X player and sends him out to smaller club who don't pay much if any of his wages. Smaller club then reaches the big time off the back of it while sailing through FFP. It just unfairly distorts competition but so does Derby throwing 30 million at it in the space of six months At the end of the day I'm only jealous Be ok when klopp sorts his mate this summer though;D ;D Forget that ng, would you want some of that shower of shite? It'll be Wagner helping out his mate Klopp at this rate...

Its not the F F P rules that are failing as such, but more " those who fail " to enforce punishment to clubs breaking these rules.
The F F P rules seem to work fine for clubs like Huddersfield Town who abide by them , and just one club who has learnt valuable lessons from the past
It is very easy to introduce any kind of rules in sport , but enforcing them seems a totally different matter.

Like most I do not like clubs buying their way to success with ridiculous amounts of money. Best examples are probably perennial under achievers Chelsea and Man City until they had billionaire owners. However under FFP how will smaller clubs such as Bournemouth with a ground capacity of 10k ever compete with the top teams?. How many teams reach the top or get promoted without spending. FFP just seems like a restraint of trade and was certainly dreamt up by Mr Platini as a way of stopping the spending of English clubs who were beginning to dominate Europe. They just have to do it the hard way just like Leicester are doing & in the process avoid being the next Leeds United. It's criminal that football ever got into a position where it needed to impose FFP on the clowns. With respect you really cannot compare Leicester with Bournemouth and if I am not mistaken Leicester spent millions for 3 years before promotion with the backing of a billionaire owner. Their ground capacity is more than 3 times that of Bournemouth.

While ever relegated clubs are allowed to spend parachute payments on anything other than honouring previously agreed contracts then FFP will be a waste of time. There should be a rule that prevents these clubs spending the payments on transfer fees. The rest of the clubs have to fund their transfer activities from gate income, TV money, owner investment, player sales, advertising etc and those relegated clubs should be made to do the same. I don't have a problem with owners buying success if they choose as long as they suffer the consequences if it goes tits up. The punishment for administration should mean relegation

I know I'll have people coming in on this post, but Murdoch has tightened his grip so much that he pretty much calls the shots. Scudamore is just a puppet being well looked after for doing what Sky think will boost their revenue...
The PL is morally bankrupt. The poor cousin (the FL) just has to cow-tow to these people. I think it genuinely tries to induce fair play but it's fighting a group of playground bullies...
