Maybe Roger Burnley to take the role? He would be good but he is only on gardening leave after leaving JRS before taking up his ASDA role

I don't know the guy, and he's obviously done a lot of great work for the club, so a huge and sincere thanks for that … yes there's a but. I don't want to character assassinate the guy – as I say I don't know him – but from his media appearances he never struck me as necessarily the best face for the club. That slightly dopey grin. He came across as a bit of a chancer really. He's an accountant mate therefore by definition he ain't going to be both articulate and the life and soul of the party. That's what pushing numbers around sheets of paper all day does to you!

I sincerely hope not! With his history of facilitating sales of the football clubs he has worked at, this move would play right into the hands of Parky and Marcus Claptrap, that DH was actively looking for an exit.

I read the article and I don't think you can tell whether he left or was pushed. I think he has done a good job for Town and maybe he just wanted to move into something a little more low profile than a football club. Whatever the reason he left I wish him well. It reads to me like it wasn't amicable which is a shame considering what they've achieved together, tough at the top though and Dean can be ruthless when required as we've seen. Guess it goes with the territory. The new incumbent will likely give an indication of the rational behind the decision although I guess its possible disagreement in a particular area has done the damage. Maybe Clibbo didn't like the idea of giving away season tickets next year!

Some on here hinting they knows what's gone on, bullshitters or has there indeed been some skullduggery. I'm guessing the former.

Good good. He has significantly held us back in many areas over the past few years. Exciting times.

I wonder he's being blamed for hanging on to the transfer cash until the summer too? I'm slightly surprised that DH didn't get DW to announce this, along the lines of the lack of transfers PR. It seems a popular way of getting bad news out to the fans.

A CV is already winging (or should that be whinging) it's way up from deepest, darkest Kent Sent from my Mummy's Ipad. Way too early yet.
I'm sure DW/DH will already have a target in mind, but think it's sensible to wait until next January to approach them. DH will no doubt, already be happy with the board he has, so is in no rush to sign a new CEO and will wait until the right man comes along.
Better add the smiley before I get jumped on...

I wonder if we'll ever know the true reason? I'm sure the club will release some details which 99.9% will accept as the truth, however it won't fit in with your agenda so you will somehow spin it to show a lack of ambition by the club.
