Huddersfield v Preston. Annual report 15/16 Hi all, unfortunately I was at your place on Boxing Day with the whole debacle, and wondered why you guys weren't higher in the league. We are generally no pushover away from home, well organised and drilled. Not pretty, but effective, but then we do what we have to do to stay up this season. So after you guys kicked the shit out of us at your place, and got your just rewards. I couldn't understand it, was it just us, or was I missing something... (No answers, still) The only plus side, I thought was how friendly it felt at yours right down to the announcer going above and beyond to inform us bout the driving conditions home. Was a class act, and as a result have a bit of a soft spot for you guys, (I dunno, guess am easily pleased). So on to today. There was no way on earth I thought we'd see a repeat, but once again, you absolutely battered is again. We were chasing shadows. Your number 29 is immense, really impressed. He was tackling, passing, anticipating in every area of the pitch. Cracking player. Look, today was one of those freak occurrences in football, and I'm not complaining, but you definitely know something about our tactics and how to play against us. On our games against you this season, I can't see anything majorly wrong, so u can't be too far from really pulling up trees. Safe journey home to the great fans here today and all the best for the season. See you next season (hopefully for us) I was there and didn't see that. I did see Garner trying to cheat and foul his way to free kicks and penalties though. I suppose it's a matter of opinion. Are you trying to suggest that we are a dirty team? Hahaha. No, I truly meant kicked the shit out of us metaphorically. With football. It was a compliment and I didn't think of its literal meaning.

Really close, bad luck, bad officials don't win matches though. Are we really that unlucky or missing a decent CB and a more clinical finisher? What are you quoting me for? Quote Ted. I'm not bright enough to debate with you. Marcus fell out with me

I'd say this PNE fan is welcome back on here anytime. Bit like MarshLeeds... Some of the more narrow minded & dramatic posters on here might wish to take note...

Ok - a misunderstanding. My apologies.

Great original post, and to return the compliment, I had nothing but decent banter with Preston fans all day, and I was there pretty early. Even going back to the car, some guy checking results on his phone, said " what's the Preston result" They couldn't believe it either, and knew they'd stolen it. Hope the lass in the burger van comes up with a name for the daughter she's about to have. No hassle from the stewards that I saw anyway either, even they were chatty, especially the good looking lass. ( ok at 63 it don't take much to make my day as they say) Also really liked the ground, even if getting up to row 29 nearly gave me a heart attack. Not been to that many, but better than some that kept the old ground. Ipswich always seems really dark etc, and Wolves is a bit of a mish-mash. Made a good job at Preston, and whilst I love and have got used to our new ground, makes you wonder if we couldn't have done something similar with Leeds Road. Too much banter to mention, but probably the nicest part of Lancashire I've been to, just the wrong result.

Their only threat was aerial balls and set pieces and we were coasting. Individual switch offs and rank poor full back defending have cost us again....and we were warned. We must have conceded 4 or 5 free kicks in silly areas and we continued to let them put crosses in at will.

Just flicking though last nights fallout on here & came across this thread.. It's nice to get an outsiders perspective on things rather than sifting through the usual ott nonsense after any defeat on here.

Unfortunately we are going down.. Sepp Splatter told us and he's never wrong Trouble with you guys on here you make it/take it personally time for you both to move on you are probably both nice blokes and youve got one thing in common you support the greatest team in football UTT I take nothing personally mate, the day I get wound up by Ted Chippington is the day I go support Leeds. He likes to troll a few folk on here so I had great fun giving him a bit back. I go to games and I attend Q&A's I'm not afraid to say something negative. I call it as it is, when we win I'm all smiles and positive and when we lose we are shit. Its called passion. If we beat Forest next week then the mood will change again. I don't actually think we will be relegated but I do think that we will be in a relegation battle unless we sort out the huge problems in defence.

Need to sort out your traffic. First out of the car park onto Blackpool road. Took me an hour to get to that damn roundabout. that's just over a mile. An hour later only 2 miles from Holmfirth We need a striker. Simple as. Simple solution then, there will be plenty of strikers outside HRI on Wednesday..... Take your pick!!!!
