Morning all,
Just bought my tickets for my mates and I for Forrest this Saturday, going over on the train early morning and making a day of it didn't go last season but went opening day of season a couple of years back which we lost 1-0 if I remember rightly, should be a good laugh, decent away day is Forrest, who else is heading over?

Good game last season. Can't remember who scored for us although the margin of victory should have been bigger. Remember Smith blotting out Antonio. One of Powell's finest hours.

Got a mate at work who's a Leeds season ticket holder and he said that Forest were garbage on Saturday and fancies us to turn them over. Hopefully he's correct and Saturday is the day that we start converting some of these chances we are creating!

They'll raise their game for the visit of the Town, get a few key dubious decisions and it'll be usual story.

We're due some luck and they're due a loss so I'm hoping for an away win.

Good game last season. Can't remember who scored for us although the margin of victory should have been bigger. Remember Smith blotting out Antonio. One of Powell's finest hours. Scannell scored a belter for us. Right hand side of the 6 yard box, the assist was from Butterfield with a beautiful pass. Smith had a belter and Smithies did as well. Miller should of scored and if I remember Vaughan had a sitter that he blazed over the bar. My best away day last season. Although tbf it didn't take much.

I'm off with a mate, really looking forward to it. The one ground that I wanted to go to when we got promoted (not entirely sure why, something to do with Cloughie maybe) and I haven't been yet.

Sent Lynch off when one of yellows was for a couple of seconds time wasting because he had nobody to throw it to, non-penalty awarded for obvious foul on Ward etc etc. Makes you wonder doesn't it. I'd love to see the game officiated by some kind of robots one day. No way can humans be impartial.

Forest have changed their style somewhat and home or away, they tend to sit back, soak up pressure and hit on the break. Sounds like we are the ideal opposition for them, as we will no doubt look to dominate possession and territory, commit full-backs forward and leave holes to be exploited on the break. They've been tight as a Clibbens' wallet at the back, so we are going to have to be more ruthless than of late when we do create the inevitable chances that our possession leads to. We'll either win this 3-1 or lose it 2-something with both of theirs coming from counter-attacks.

2 going from here. Ive wanted to go to the City for a while but never had the chance so im looking forward to this!
I work with a Forest fan, though he doesn't get to go these days but he keeps in touch with them. Says if we have a good defence we should be ok as all their good forwards are still out aside from Oliviera. They may have not been playing well but they are still 13 unbeaten

Do we know if Notts County are opening their bar for away fans like they normally do?

There used to be a really good Army surplus store close to the ground. Going back 25 years now, but it might still be there. Just saying in case anyone gets bored or cold. Seem to remember they sold the odd tank or two.

Do we know if Notts County are opening their bar for away fans like they normally do? As far as we know. That's where the Millbridge coach is dropping us off. Some of us will stop there pre-match and others will wander off elsewhere.

I saw R.E.M. play there, and I've walked round it (well, almost, you can't get all the way round) when its empty loads of time, because my sister lives in Nottm. Never been to a game, though. Does that count as having been there?
