Not only is Drinkwater now a regular starter in the PL, but he's running a midfield 2 against most teams' 3. Hardly the lightweight player that most accused him of! He should start for England at euros. No question. Best midfielder this season. Him and Dier would be my two deep midfielders this summer. Both over Henderson/Milner for me.

Not conceded in 5 games and 14 clean sheets this season. Wagner, please take note what can be achieved with a good defence! I reckon our defence with N'Golo Kante in front of it wouldn't concede too many either I reckon if they had Whitehead instead of Kante they'd already be champions.

Whilst it would be good for them to win the league I am also hacked off that like QPR they have suffered no consequences for falling foul of financial fair play. From what I understand both clubs are still undergoing legal proceedings on this front and if FFP had been set up right with teams either being docked points or relegated leagues then maybe we would not be seeing what is happening in the premiership.

Taken from BBC Twitter feed - Alex, Liverpool fan: If Leicester win the League, it'll be one of the greatest sporting achievements of all time - most definitely the greatest in Premier League history. It shows anyone, not just in football, that you don't need bags of money or the best players to achieve the dream, just some hard work and determination.
Yes, but tell the pundits and the media that. Listening to the radio this morning and some "expert" already had Leicester down for a bottom half finish next season.

'The best' and 'the most effective' are not necessarily the same thing. Exactly, look at the table Spurs fans. So what's your point? By any means necessary? Fine. And hats off to Leicester... they have been very effective. I guess my point would be that Spurs are building something to last, whereas Leicester might not be... short term gain stuff, and all that. You're not a purist are you, kennyk2?

No I'm a pragmatist (apart from when Town are hoofing it to the top of Dalton Bank). One of the two teams that will win the Premier League this time will probably never win it again for a very long time - if ever. Yes, Spurs have got some great players but the amount of money that Man U, Man City and Chelsea seem have to spend means that they will still be seen, rightly or wrongly, as favourites next season. I don't think Leicester will finish in the bottom half next season though.

Top of the league and they need clackers to generate an atmosphere. Almost tin pot. Think there would be a great atmosphere even without the happy clappers.

Leicester will have Champions League commitments next season though - that could really take it's toll.
Also I'd imagine they'll want to sign some more players to compete in the CL - how will that effect the dressing room & the close knit team CR assembled this season?

They go straight into the group stage so it could mean only 6 more games for them. They are all about momentum. As soon as its lost then they will slip. There is no pressure on them at the moment too. That will change next season.

Massive win for them. So they need 1 more win and 2 draws to be certain. They've definitely had luck on their side at times this season but I hope they do it. The best team his season & the most consistent but Spurs will take some stopping next year.

I think everyone is getting a bit blase about this ... it's the most amazing thing ever to happen to top flight football .. it's like town winning the championship by 15 points .. it's nuts.. I've heard some looneys are saying its bad for football cos they play on the counter and win lots of games one nil ... sweet mother of Mary.. this gives hope to every underdog in sport .. they have smashed into the monied elite and look to be winning it in a canter .. unbelievable ..

I think Pochettino is trying to. But....how long will he be there? He's hot, hot, hot property and the really big boys notice these things! He'll be going nowhere. Levy's finally found himself a top class manager, he won't be letting him go anywhere. In fact he'll back him in the transfer market for Wanyama, tadic or whoever else he wants. Or that's what my spurs supporting mates tell me.

It's great for English club football is this, the dominance of money being broken but the status quo will no doubt be restored. I think Leicester will probably be an also ran, there is no way they will be challenging for the title, they will also no doubt be embarrassed in the CL but they've won the title fair and square, should they go on to win it, no one can question that.
One interesting point, I saw a graphic on Sky Sports news this morning, Leicester are 20th for passing accuracy and there are only 20 teams in the league, the Champions elect ard the worst passers.
