So, let’s say, we pay off the rest of DM’s contract, then give SC whatever salary he wants. Is KN then to spend yet more money in zJanuary on players? Some folk are very quick to spend somebody else’s money. Than say not enough was spent by the tight fisted chairman. Reality check required. Reality is being relegated watching terrible football and the Chairman then refuses to put additional funding into the team. We need both a New Manager and an injection of cash in January

What have we learned? Nicholls is nowhere near as good as we used to think Edwards should never play again for us again Nakayama is soft as shit and pretty crap Wiles is unfit and useless Lees past it Helik can't do it all by himself Hogg? Bergzorg show pony Harrett not really good enough Diarra diabolical Thomas playing for a move Moore -clueless selection, tactics and speaker. Totally unable to read the game and change it Nagle -wants goal music Rubbish. They are good players but they need to be used in exactly the right way and motivated in the right way. As individuals they are nowhere near the level that they can be collectively. Warnocks elite ability meant he could work with that. The new ownership team thought that anyone could come in and do similar. If they want to save this season I'd be crawling to Warnock It’s not rubbish Edwards was terrible and he should have been hooked after the first goal, as 3 of the goals came as they left him for dead( he looks about two stone overweight).Moore should have seen the problems as they stood out like a sore thumb. Diarra was absolutely terrible and the rest of the summary is spot on. I have a friend who is a season ticket holder with his son at Leeds and I joined them in the B B club after the game and whilst you would expect a biased opinion most of the Leeds fans I talked to said we were the worst team they have played this season. I am not one for knee jerk reactions but if it does not improve soon then the powers that be need to think about a replacement.

I thought this thread was about the Birmingham City shambles but it appears it’s all about wishing everyone a Happy Birthday. I would prefer it if we could talk about introducing a fans charter in which everyone who took time off work and traveled to the game is refunded their costs by the players. I think there was about 150/200 went last night. A drop in the ocean for the players but it would be a much appreciated gesture by the fans who went.

Just back and I have to say it was very very poor completely overrun in midfield we miss Hogg unbelievably and our lack of pace in defence was alarming.

How and when did he fill his coffers exactly? Bloody hell, the bloke has just walked away from about £40m that hes pumped into this club ( you know, to give you the best period the clubs had in your entire lifetime) and you think he has been filling his coffers at any point!! A bloke who pays £249 a year bitterly moaning that a bloke who's lost £40 million has been filling his coffers?? LOL Football fans are unbelievable. to someone who earns say 20-30k pa, a season ticket is a significant amount of their disposable income, so they have made a proportionally similar investment as Dean Hoyle did. You keep making this point that season ticket holders aren't entitled to moan about the lousy stewardship of the club in recent times because only millionaires are significant human beings, it's such a tory outlook on life - you need to learn to be a better comrade! What a silly argument I would guess the money DH lost is a greater percentage of his total income than a season ticket is of someone on £30k per year ( yes he is still rich but he earned it so don’t begrudge him his money) DH gave Town the best few years I have had watching them since 1962 yes we got it wrong in the Premier League but at least we got there. If you want to moan about the cost of a season ticket don’t buy one and stop at home.

But your comments are nothing to do with the post it’s just a silly comment I want Towns first team to win against who ever the fixture list throws up playing the second team is selling fans short Those buttons either side of your space bar would come in useful. You obviously know how to use them as you've correctly used an apostrophe in "it's"... but your post above reads like the stream-of-consciousness rantings of someone bouncing off the walls in Rampton. Thanks for your comments on my brief posting. In the future if you don’t mind I will refer all my correspondence and financial dealings for you to check.

One game into the season and probably the hardest game of the season coming up at the weekend and we make 10 changes to a team that lost its first game of the season. Put the best team out every game if Boro don’t then we could have hopefully scored a few and faced Leicester with a spring in our step.

Phil Billing will end up somewhere like Bury. Jamie Vardy will never make it as a professional footballer. We should sign Nile Ranger. To be fair, duncfost01 doesn't have a monopoly on saying stuff on here that ages badly. Wears his heart on his sleeve. I can't fault that TBH. It’s a board for opinions. It would be pretty dull if no one had any. Who cares😂😂😂😂

I suggest if you have nothing better to do than try to defend sick jokes about child murders then you should get a life and give your head a shake. I suggest you should learn to read. I wasn't referring to recent child murders, or child murders at all. America, John Wayne, bullet holes, wild west, it's been grounds for satire for the last 200 years. Shut up nobody thinks you are funny.

I give up on some people. I assume you would still crack such a joke if one of your children (if you have any)had been shot! You're assuming a lot softboy You're assuming I'm joking, as in a joke. It was a facetious black humour comment, a speciality of mine. My way of dealing with life's shit, things like gun crime. You're assuming my comment refers to school shootings when my comment was based on American gun laws in general. I merely referred to the USA Town top being riddled with bullet holes. You've also assumed I've got the foggiest as to which of the latest shootings you are referring. I had to Google recent high school shootings. I don't watch the 'news'. I don't watch TV. School shootings are now very sadly an almost daily occurrence. Pick one which particularly offends you more than another. Each day 12 children die from gun violence in America. There have been 376 high school shootings since Columbine. You are digging a bigger hole for yourself I suggest if you have nothing better to do than try to defend sick jokes about child murders then you should get a life and give your head a shake.

He is rightly getting praise for selling to the Americans and writing off the debt. But let's not forgot this deal only been done because EFL blocked the Dutch deal. But well done dean for doing best for the club In my opinion he has always done his best for the club,OK Dean and the club got things wrong in the Premier League but we have had some of the best times I have ever had supporting Town since 1962 Winning the Playoff Final Beating Man United Watford away ( Last Christmas for those who went) Man City away and that night at Stamford Bridge. Thank you Dean you gave me memories I will never forget.

I really don’t know what is going to happen in the next few weeks but I hope somehow we can get out of the current mess we are in and then we can sack the useless idiot. We have had some bad managers in the past but non I can remember so arrogant. He promised attacking football but it’s turgid, and he does not even pick an attacking team to support his claim. He says he is not allowed to bring in players but we have 3 new ones with more promised before tomorrow. In my opinion he is a chancer with no man management skills and very little tactical awareness. In my last post I said the players did not like him and I can confirm that is directly from the horses mouth.

I’d work my socks off and want it more than anyone, I’d still be shite at football though. We still need to find some guile and talent from somewhere. Just reading the Examiner review we have got a forward who doesn’t score goals doesn’t provide assists and despite being 6ft 2inch doesn’t win headers. And I thought our problem was getting someone who could score goals. 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔

If we loose today and don’t beat Rotherham then he has to go, the crowd needs to let the Board know at the Rotherham game that he has to be replaced or we are doomed to relegation and Town will be a minimum of £8m down on income loosing more annually than they do now and just as last season all the better players will leave and Division one could soon become division two again.

As I see it it’s down now to the fact the Dean and Ph don’t actually like each other. I know in Deans last game against Man Utd , Phil ignored Dean and Janet. Dean was pissed off by that. So Phil won’t give up his shares for free - I guess why should he ? - Dean is probably saying - when I stepped in due to your spending I had to be put in “x” - so that’s the price of your shares. Now the club find its self in limbo. Clearly the books don’t balance so Dean has said - get rid of the high earners - I’m not funding it anymore - I guess why should he when he only owes 25% ? Whilst on the pitch the product they are offering is absolutely garbage. Hence the fans not going - and the amount disharmony between fans and the club. Dean & Phil need to sort this out rapidly. Both claim to be fans of the club. I’m not seeing that at all. This is probably a very good assessment of our position I guess Big Phil wants his money back and Dean is saying your shares are worth say £10m I have funded the club to the value of £8m and I want your 75% for £2m and Phil is saying No. If you are correct it would appear that it is Big Phil who is destroying our club.

If there’s any truth in your second paragraph, then that stinks. We were planning for League 1 next time around 3 months into a new season? Honestly, that is shattering. Did they really think the fan base would slavishly go along with this and simply renew next season? Now that is delusional! I am in no way privy to any goings on at the club. I'm stating my thoughts. I thought we could go down this season after game 2, stated my thoughts on here, and when Fotheringham was appointed I thought we're gearing down for League 1 and again I think I expressed my thoughts here I can say for a fact from leaked information the players don’t rate him, I have never posted a rumour before and no I am unable to say where the info came from but I can say for certain it’s 100% true.

A special message to the fellow Town fan who I met in the British Legion Fort Augustus on the night of the England v France match. Thank you so much for distracting me and then stealing my woolly hat from right under my nose (later confirmed by cctv). The hat was actually a birthday present from my niece, just 3 months before she passed away due to cancer at the age of just 24. So I hope you had a warm and safe journey home you fucking theiving twat! I know it’s not the same but I have one you can have never worn happy to bring it to the game on Saturday

Sooner the better on this takeover. Likely on / around January window? Anyone actually have any inside knowledge? Me I have the scoop everyone is looking for. Dean agreed to sell me the club for £1 but I gave him a fiver. He was so touched by my generosity that he said I could have the club debt free he did not want any of his money back and he has given me £100 million cash to get new players in January. Now what I need from all the experts on here is a short list of what I can should do with the money, I will follow up this post with my mobile phone number but a word of advise the strange ring tone will be from overseas and Barbados is 5 hours behind the UK so don’t call before 2pm UK time.

Brilliant post. Let’s not ignore how much of a PR genius Hoyle is. He’s very quick to tell everyone he had to come in and keep the club afloat and how much it’s costing to do that (it seemed to find its way in the examiner quite quick as well 👀) but he hasn’t been too quick to come out and tell everyone he turned down an offer for the club from Marcus Evans just before Wembley because he was prepared to take that chance we could go up and he could claw back the money he wants. Since 2018, it’s been a collective of bad decisions from Hoyle, who he’s appointed on and off the pitch which has culminated in a complete fucking mess of our finances, we’ve lost good people, we’ve lost an identity, a culture, a togetherness. The whole club, board and Hoyle should be held accountable. How can a board be so passive? Here’s his statement from the end of 2018 www.htafc.com/news/2018/december/dean-hoyle-new-years-message-20182/“I will NOT let us sleepwalk into relegation” If you think people like me are being negative, this apathy isn’t down to just results or league position, it’s beyond that. It’s the entire DNA of the club, the placement, the message, the ambition that’s gone. The cowshed loyal called the club out back in July and it wasn’t something that sat well with everyone, since July NOTHING has changed at the club. If anything, it’s got worse. I'd also throw into my apathy the fact we don't have a single player worth paying to watch right now. Going back to the start of Hoyle's time at HTFC we've had, relative to the levels we've played at: Roberts Pilks Clayton at a push Vaughan/Beckford Butterfield Nahki at times Mooy VLP (end product woeful but no denying he got people off their seat) Izzy Schindler Billing Mounie and Kongolo at points Grant Bacuna at times Smith-Rowe Toff LOB Eiting MKI Colwill Not all were excellent overall footballers but all were capable of doing stuff normal folk couldn't and exciting people to differing levels. The closest we have now is Russell who whilst very easy on the eye with the ball at his feet (last season at least) cant run and is getting bombed out, and the lesser spotted Tino who is quickly looking at an Izzy Brown type career. The lack of flair and unpredictability in our squad right now is stark. We have players who I like, players who have been amazing servants for the club (Hogg) and players with a decent future in the game (Camara, Sorba), but absolutely nobody capable of running a game, or anyone capable of creating something from nothing. We just have a squad of workhorses. In fact I think all I've enjoyed this season bar Tino v West Brom (and let's not forget it started in July!) are a few mazy runs from Pat Jones and Diarra. I understand your frustration but don’t quite understand the point you are making If we had a decent manager getting the team playing attacking football ( which is what was promised ) I think some of the existing squad would be entertainers. Confidence is a major part of everyone’s life and in particular footballers and our players are lacking in confidence at the moment. There are two things to take into consideration here the first being the terrible injury list and the second and most important the appointment of a manager totally out of his depth at championship level. Also if DH pulls out we go into administration and have a points reduction which will guarantee relegation I know it won’t happen but a new manager and a few good signings will make a massive difference
