Why is everyone trying to think up reasons as to why they've got better crowds than us. Ok, I get that cost is a big factor, we know that ourselves, look at our season ticket sales. Think the days of having bigger crowds than them are gone. This is the first season since 03-04 (when they were 2 division higher) that they've averaged more than us and it took substantially lower ticket prices to do it.

I should also point out that since 2007 Bradford have done cheap season tickets, yet despite both being in league 1 together in 2004-2007, unbelievably this season the 8th largest city in the UK has managed to make their season tickets so cheap that they've managed to beat the 11th largest Town in the average attendance table.

Bradford have a decent chance. I hope they make it. Will be good for West Yorkshire to have 3 championship sides and it's another close & lively away day.

If Bradford do get promoted, I hope the players/management wherever they are from, Huddersfield, Dortmund, or Narnia know how enjoyable it is to beat Bradford.

We had close games vs both Barnsley and Millwall, only one goal in two games vs both. Hammered Walsall 4-0 recently but they were the better team at their place when they beat us 2-1. Should be interesting!

Play off v Millwall - 2nd leg away from Valley Parade wonder if they'll do better than we did years ago They'd be my fourth favourites to go up .. I just can't see it happening They do have quite a pedigree in cup competitions of late... which is what they are left playing in, ostensibly. Wouldn't back against them. Prefer Barnsley to come up, personally.

Not saying we'll do it but we have experience in the playoffs from three years ago as well as Wembley experience. We have done well in one off cup games recently too. We have won our last seven home games and we have kept seven clean sheets in our last nine games. We have also beaten Millwall and Walsall recently too. Reasons to believe.

Fuck me we've been in the play offs 8 times but it doesn't mean anything. It's what happens over 2 legs. And how many fans are you going to take down there? Not many cos you'll be shitting it.

That Town performance at Millwall is one of the most embarrassing in recent years. Utterly spineless, the players didn't even want to take throw-ins. Not sure if it counted as another match unbeaten though

Half of our team played for us in our last playoffs and I think that helps. Workshyfop - yep, very disappointing performance from you guys in that away leg. Seem to remember Drinkwater playing but might be wrong.

Went to watch Barnsley with a tyke supporting mate today. Wigan gave up after Barnsley scored their second but we should have a look at Alfie Mawson. Ball playing CB who'll be playing at a higher level next season regardless of what comes of the Barnsley's season. Seen Barnsley a few times this season and he's a class above. A.H is still a poser and tries to many step overs but Barnsley fans love him! Each to their own!
As a side note, a new possible song for Nahki shamelessly stolen from Wigan for Will Grigg which I found pretty impressive:
To the tune of GALA- Freed from desire:
Nahkis on fire, your defence is terrified x2
Nar, nar, nar, na, nar, na, nar, nar
Repeat until bored!

As fans we didn't show up (credit to those who did, I'm not one of them by the way) and the players just bottled it. I feared we wouldn't be mentally strong enough and indeed we were soft as shite. I remember saying on here at the time that the only way to take on those fuckers is to face them off and recalled the Brian Clough story of when Forest played them in the cup. He saw that the players were anxious, so got the bus driver to stop a mile from the ground and said we'll walk from here. Clough marched them down the Old Kent Road through all their hardcore fans with a nod and "excuse me young man" then told the players they'd nothing to fear. That's the mindset you need down there.

I'd rather have Barnsley, we still get a Yorkshire derby and we don't get the chickens crowing

Good luck to Millwall in the play off semi finals. Personally hope Walsall do it, they deserve to and they have an ex Town player in charge

Very true. We are quite an aggressive and competitive team so we shouldn't bottle it (fingers crossed). We played Millwall in the cup last season and drew 3-3 away then beat them 4-0 at home. This season, we drew 0-0 away and beat them 1-0 at home. Playoffs is different (especially with the second leg away on a Friday night) but we should definitely go into it being confident.

ABS. Anyone But Sadford.
Ideally Walsall just because they finished 3rd, have a former HTFC player in charge & one of our players on loan but as long as it's not the chickens I don't really mind.

You've certainly built up some momentum over the last four season. Hats off considering you haven't spent any money. I see ticket prices for your home leg are just £15 that's an incredibly cheap price, fair play to the owners.
