CBA to go into all this again but 3m for a couple of players FF/Hoops is peanuts when you think Fulham paid 11M for Ross Mac. If you're not prepared to spend owt you will be where you are now...fighting the drop. Dean H has done well for you but seriously he's taken you as far as he can. We are above Fulham. Burnley and Brighton haven't spent much. It's more about the team and coaching than it is spunking money. You seem to be coached well and leave spent the money so there is no excuse if you don't get close to promotion. |

You might drop lucky and have Cellino buying you . . . here's hoping Take a look at forest, Cardiff, Leeds, Blackburn, Fulham and villa. Their foreign ownership looks to be going well. They have all got bored once success hasn't come and it has gone tits up. |

What goes around comes around. All these Massive defending an out and out cheat.
Be interesting to see what they will say if they get done in the play-offs with a scandalous decision against them, where an opposing Player has done them with a ridiculous dive for a penalty or a free-kick that leads to a goal.
I can only wish and live in the hope this happens.

Yesterday I thought the ref did okay you targeted forestieri from the start and had to resort to chopping him down like so many do because they can't deal with him .he was motm and fittingly scored the winner and I'm glad he rammed the abuse he hot down your throats. Would you have him in your team ? Course you would . |

Don't know if anyone saw Nixon's report on yesterday- something along the lines of it being ironic that Forrestieri scored the winner whilst on the floor as that's where he spent most of the game!
Obviously he or The Sun are bitter about Wendies or have some kind of small town mentality!!

I can't understand why they can't use the same camera evidence for diving as they do for off the ball incidents. This would at least get the divers banned for a few games. We all know who the divers are and Im sure the refs must have some idea too. Its a shame that good players like Foristieri still need to cheat at every possible opportunity. They could make a start by dealing with camera action showing the divers diving when there's nobody near them, like the foristieri one on a thread on here. Where it is 100% clear then a 6 month ban to the first offenders will make others think twice about it. I grew up in the days of watching Frankie getting chopped down and getting straight back up, time after time, to get the ball back because he had pride. The rubbish we are served up nowadays often means the team who can cheat the best and fool the refs (not difficult) end up winning. Something needs to be done before fans walk away and decide to go and watch their local village team where you will have more chance of watching a fair match. |

As much as the Wed fans are in denial, as were Watford fans etc. It's difficult to argue that if you were to compile a list of the top ten theatrical players in the Championship, his name would feature somewhere. That's not just Town fans, fans of many other clubs would be of the same opinion. In some way it's ironic that Steve Bruce stood up for him when he was sent off...
I think the majority of Wednesday-ites on here are nothing more than gobshites, if they get promoted they'll be even bigger gobshites & if they stay where they are they'll be whinging gobshites because they were robbed somehow. They will not however represent the more grounded Wed fans who know that this might still go flat & don't come on the boards of opposition clubs giving it large...
I don't know anything about the Wed owner BTW, he might have millions to spunk and may be yet another Chairman who ultimately sticks two fingers up to FFP. I'm just happy that we've an owner that is a dyed in the wool supporter. To those on the outside he's just another wealthy chairman but they'll ignore the fact our most expensive signing is the sort of money top PL clubs pay for bench warmers...
I'd be happy to be in the position that Wed fans find themselves in today, just that we've to be a little more patient for that & when it comes I'd hope some on here don't act like spoilt children who've been given a free week in the sweet shop and are dosed up & hyperactive on the sugar...
