is it me or are wed fans fast becoming more delusional than that lot down the a62?! they were laughable when gary madine was better than Rhodes....but because Mr tuna fish has come in and spunked millions they now think they are real Madrid! show some humility lads.....you know what pride comes before don't you?! Can't recall GM ever being likened to or thought of as better than Rhodes. Shame he went to a bigger club in Blackburn and on from there. As for our chairman spunking millions, not really. Some Quality players picked up for little with some Additions that have cost us a few quid. Since McAlpine went you lot have steadily slipped back to where you were before. You lot need another beneficiary to even stay in this league next season. Yeah that McAlpine put millions into Town, please come back |

I'm damned sure I couldn't name six of yours pal. Does Waddle still play for you? I love this thread. So bitter, bit like our porkie friends at S2. Mind the gap and cheers for the three points already this season. We have better WUMs already from our own fans, your serve no purpose. Run along and prepare for your YouTube video of your trip to Huddersfield. Always forget just how lame the Massive fans can be when they win a couple of games. With the money you've spent play offs should be your minimum expectation. So you're doing ok. As for bitterness? No. Just folk seeing a diving get in Forestieri, good player though he is. Personally I was surprised to see him surplus to requirements at Watford, would be better still if he cut out the antics. I say exactly the same when Bunn dives too, embarrassing. |

Perhaps a panel could score Forestieri's dives and then display them on the scoreboard . I should imagine he will at least attain an 8.5  . For all the mocking he is a class player though. |

I love watching a good player no matter who he plays for. In fact I've been to watch many games not involving Town just to see a good player. I don't pay to see this crap though. Lol. You love it really. You'd love to be able to afford the bus fare from Denby Dale or even own a car to come to the beacon of light that is Hillsborough and see such talent. Odious cheating creature behaviour wise, horrible little excuse of a 'Man'. Morley I'm kind of hoping that Wednesday get promoted at the end of the season. It would give me nothing but pleasure knowing that their club owner will be pocketing all the Premier league money and milking the Wednesday fans for all they're worth.
And look at poor old Huddrsfield, with an owner that won't waste his money on cheating scumbags, look at our season ticket prices, it's going to be tough for our poor fans next season isn't it.

Tinpot Town? The club that is probably on a very sound (& fair) financial footing, has an off field set-up that will over the next few yrs attract some decent youth talent, aided in part by a management structure that will be getting viewed with quiet envy among the people who really know the game?
I get the rose tinted bias from all football supporters but even the most blinkered Wednesday-ite can surely see that this lad is a bit special in the theatrical stakes? The fact that his agent mentioned he needed his equity card and his EU work permit before he came to the UK says it all...
You crack on and celebrate your one good season in a dozen. I do like your ground in some respects, but it's probably more out of nostalgia than envy. It's a ground that in those respects is becoming less & less.
If you succeed this yr, fair play & good luck in the greedy league, but if you're still here come August then pop in here & we'll serve you up a nice slice of humble pie.
I'd keep your feet on the ground if I were you, your days of games v Tottenham at Wembley will soon start to appear as distant as our thrice champions days...

Hillsborough is a proper football ground not like the council funded meccano set style soulless hole like the Mcalpine, er galpharm, er John Smiths or whatever mercenary money spinning name it's called these days! funny. I much prefered the old Leeds Road ground we had to the John Smiths. Proper football ground with a huge terrace. However where we are, we are. You might not like the ground but it is what it is. The home of HTAFC. I could say a lot about the shit tip that is hillsboro, but i wont lower myself.....yet. |

However sensible you try and be with posters of other clubs who come on here, you just have to accept that the further up the football ladder you climb, the number of knobheads following your club increases proportionately...
There are some decent SWFC posters who pop on here pre/post the derby games, but it gets tedious when the ratio of knobheads:decent supporters increases to something on the scale of 15:1...
If any of the SWFC knobheads want to know how to act normal on opposition boards I'd suggest you look up 'MarshLeeds' on here...
