There is no denying he is one of the most talented players in the league. He is also one of the reasons why referee's find it so difficult in the modern game. In an instant you have to decide on decisions around him being tackled and his tendency to make the most ( yes that's an understatement ) of any physical contact and is a poor example to any kids coming into the game. I am surprised that no player to date has lost their rag with him and dished out a really serious injury to him however that's the risk he takes with his style of play.

I can understand the frustration of being a fan of a team playing against Forestieri, he does have that theatrical side to him but having watched him for 30 odd games you don't appreciate or perhaps realise how often he is kicked and gets nowt. When he was at Watford he had a knack of scoring past us and he was prone to the odd flop to the deck which I hated and like you lot spouted on forums about him being a cheat but he isn't, he's a talented player who gets unfairly fouled.
Oh and I cannot believe how hard working he is. Off the pitch there's a lot of good stuff too, including going to watch the U12s play up at Ecclesfield.

Was the best player on the pitch today by a country mile, just a shame he's a cheating twat And that, in a nutshell, is Foresterri. His skill and workrate (which is phenomenal) deserve praise, but his on-field conduct is, at times, a disgrace. His first dive came in the 4th minute and he continued as he started. He doesn't need to do it either. He is good enough to affect games without cheating. the whole game encourages and nutures cheating. they pay experts to sit in studios excusing it and describing professionalism as trying to influence decisions etc.. if i hear some twat say 'he was too honest' again!!!!!!! or 'he felt the contact'!!!!

A strong ref may not like his antics in the next few games and it could cost you big time - he's integral to you and any ban would be big given his previous.

I've no doubt he gets fouled alot. He's a skillful player who is too quick for many opposition players. But he also dives. Both things can happen you know!

Alan Lee taught Forestieri everything he knows! Short memories!!? Why your fixation with Alan Lee? Lee was a diver, Lee was an elbowing cheat, nobody on this forum is arguing otherwise. Shame you ain't got the guts or the grace to accept valid criticism of your player.

Agreed, he's theatrical, too theatrical at times but I've seen him kicked all over and get no free kick. I'm sure there are times when he's fouled and he gets nothing from the ref. I wonder if this is because of his reputation for diving? Perhaps if he stopped being so theatrical he might find he gets more decisions going for him? Just a thought.

His reputation goes before him maybe? Utt.

I don't think we will be coming up against him next season in the league, I reckon he will move to the Premier league in the summer

It must be because he's an Argie.I remember another cheating bastard called Maradona Who claimed that a goal he punched into the net was the hand of God!I would have punched him in the mouth and said that was the hand on God!
