I start every season with the same expectations as I have for years - I hope we win the first game. you cant go a season unbeaten unless you win the first. I do not think we will make playoffs, but top half would be a nice return. What I hate more than anything is the huge void between the last game of this season and the first of next. Seems like a prison sentence. And you have to read a thousand page thread entitled Summer transfer drivel. UTT Your one of those optimists aren't you. I always hope we don't lose the first game. But we always do, since promotion we have had first game defeats to Cardiff, Forest, Bournemouth and Hull. Hopefully next season will be different.

I think we'll do better than a lot expect. Yep. We'll be surprising a lot of people, including our own fans. We need to believe and get behind deano & Wagbo. Teams won't be able to handle our attacking play as they haven't a lot this season. Two things will be different: 1) we'll have 2 other men to help Wells finish off the chances 2) we'll have a proper defence. Nothing is certain. We'll need to sign Paterson. We'll need to be lucky with injuries to key men Lynch, whitehead, Hogg, wells, Lolley. We need to get the whole town believing we can achieve something very special....promotion. Dean and Wagner are winners. Now it's Hudders time to be winners again. It's gonna be a magical season.

Once again we will be lucky to stay up, as we have been every season in this division, though one season the luck will run out, the championship will be much harder with the teams coming down and Wigan back up. If wagner stays we may be ok, but after listening to his evasiveness on RL yesterday I dont think he will be here next season. We will just have to hope there are 3 worse teams than us
So after sweet talking two Germans ( so far ) to up sticks and move countries to join him.
You think Wagner is now possibly going to leave his "project" ?
We are talking about a German not a cockney wide boy here.
I didn't know Steve Evans was a Cockney!
