if we put on one side cheap season tickets flash ticket sales schools promotions etc this was a fantastic achievement with probably one of the lowest away fan numbers- hopefully with Barnsley being a local derby and wolves well supported away we could see 20000 plus for both games

Do we know what the actual size of the gate was?
I know two folk who have bought season tickets (by reason of their cheapness) but didn't attend. Indeed their assessment (correct) is that attendance at around 8 or 9 matches makes the purchase of a season ticket an economic option.... I assume a significant number of others have made the same calculation
Great win in a very good atmosphere with some decent football (although the middle of our defence STILL makes me nervous) let's it's hope the shape of things to come.

I would have thought about 20 per cent of season card holders whereby there today for one reason or another but as this seemed to be spread out over the whole stadium and the fantastic media up and down was fairly full you did not really notice the gaps - the atmosphere seemed to be coming from all sides of the ground which was great

Looking at the "heat map", there are a fair few of us over 450 miles round trip, so not all will be used every week.
My 2 were not used, but it still shows DH that fans will back him.
My family are all Huddersfield, my Mum and Dad are desperate to go back up. My 6 cousins are all male and Married to local girls. The deal may be that I drive them up (mum and Dad), pay for the juice and they pay for a room at Briar Court. (If it's too cold for the camper).
On my own, I just need to find a pub for Friday and Saturday night to park up.

Great attendance yesterday and improved atmosphere in the stadium.
I drive over from Manchester for the matches and I S ruggled to park yesterday with the increased attendance, demolition work on old Leeds road and construction work where the big car park opposite Sainsburys is.
I ended up parking in the Kingsgate multi-storey and walking down.
Does anyone have any tips on where to park closer to the ground given my usual car parks are out of commission?

Drabford are well-known for their pretendence figures. Probably include the ref and 2 linesmen as well. Before the cheap & free tickets they used to get the crowd to autograph the ball after the final whistle. Tin pot.

Park on Bradford road, near Javids. Easy to get in and out and only a ten minute walk to the ground.

Well known on here, granted. Same old response from the little pups, and yet they still ignore the fact that we've been attracting higher home attendances for the past 3-4 years. But of course, there's only 6,836 there. LOLz

LOLz Day 1 of a new season and Bradford fans more bothered about Huddersfield Town and our attendances, says it all really. Get over us will you!. Play well yesterday did you?, full of optimism for the season?. I suspect not or you wouldn't be on here (again).

Slow start for the mighty bantams but with your new billionaire owners set to splash the cash once you pinch Paul Pogba from under the noses of Man U ( in West Yorks we all know this is why that deal hasn't been sorted after weeks, Pogbas agent is stalling to get him his dream move to the Corals Window Stadium in association with Flamingo Land ) and activate Messis buy out clause from Barcelona and another 2 or 3 names then nothing will stop you mounting a serious challenge on a 3rd Division play off spot. On a separate note, when redevelopment work starts on your already wonderful stadium in September to increase capacity to 150,000 do you think your attendances will average over 70,000 while you play home matches at Wembley while building work is carried out. I think it could well do, all your 50,000 season ticket holders ( you do have tickets not cards, right ? ) are sure to travel and I'm sure 20,000 London premier league fans will rock up to see quality football when their teams are away. We Town fans are all so jealous of your fine club, our tinpot village team are away at Newcastle next week, we would much rather travel with your sell out army to Oldahm or Walsall or wherever it is, Up the Small Chickens.

Certainly was dull a few years back, of which prompted the Hudders mini-revival. In doing so, millions being spent, and what's achieved is mind-blowing - Championship football, and the excitement of a relegation dog-fight (no pun intended) year in, year out. Oh to be a, oh to be a terrier. Well jealous me.

The car park behind the old Technical College costs 2 quid and is never full. Takes about 10 mins to walk from ground and then your're straight on to Halifax Road so easy access to M62
