Amazing how a 40% pay cut and not being in the Prem makes you miss your family.

Amazing how a 40% pay cut and not being in the Prem makes you miss your family. Think thats a bit harsh on him. Bet hes on less money at Dresden than Town would've offered him. Hes done three years now in England. Fair play to him. Done well for us, consistant anyway.

Sad to see Chris leave - one of my favourite players. We'll all be left forever wondering what he actually looks like when he smiles.

Yeah, but maybe KSNE doesn't like Loewe quite how she liked Cowan? I admit to TC being one of my favourite players ever. I miss his post match celebration . I do honestly believe at the moment he is still the better BUT it's 'very close and Loewe is without doubt one heck of a player who is improving game after game and will become another Town legend . I’m sure he’s a firefighter in South Yorkshire now, shows how football wages have changed in such a short time. Brace on the pitch, even braver in real life. Top man.

A proper professional and ever dependable. Probably one of the unsung hero's of 16/17 but he'll still remain a legend of HTAFC.

What a guy. Someone who you knew, no matter what was happening, would always give 100%.
It does mean we need to find 2 LBs now. Given how many years it took to find 1 good 1, I'm not optimistic about our recruitment prospects.

Good luck in the future. He always gave me the impression that he was very studious but he certainly gave 100% on the pitch. It did appear to me that he felt he was under pressure last season and he was overawed in the Premier by some of the top players.(So would I!)
Articulate and spoke English very well.

Goodness me, Collin Quaner has lived off 15 minutes in ONE match, whereas Lowe took the penalties and was a rock in all the play-offs and before. Always gave 100% and I will miss him. Helped massively in our promotion year.
Hopefully it's just my pessimism but I've a horrible feeling we're not going to add much quality/spending to this squad, but will be relying on Siewert to somehow get the type of football/fight/character out of players like VLP,Quaner, Stankovic and Pritchard etc that they just haven't shown since they came.

Good luck
I remember seeing him for the first time and thought bloody hell we’ve found a left back who can defend, block a cross, win a tackle and he can go forward too. No fuss, just got on with the job and a huge part of that promotion season and a complete professional - you knew what you’d get from him. Top man
He struggled first premier league season but thought he personally stepped up a level this season
We’ve had some dreadful left backs in the last few decades, Lowe was a refreshing change
I thought this was coming over the last week but I had him as our left back next season as part of what I considered to be a very good championship back 4’
Edit - He was never going to miss those penalties.

Another brilliant character, winner and leader departs, massive boots to fill.
Thanks Chris for never giving less than 100% every second of every game.... and for those penalties, wow, ice cool.

He would have been great in the championship as he was the first time round. Solid and always gave his all. Scored two crucial penalties and should rightly be remembered fondly at the club. All the best to him, we'll certainly miss his contributions next season.

Very sorry to see Chris Löwe go, one of my favourites and a good, solid full back. I liked him. Still, it was anticipated, so I’m glad it’s been done fairly early in the window. Hopefully it’ll kick start incomings.

I'll echo the sentiments of him being a particular favourite of mine too!
Completely hated losing too (according to Wagner) which should be a prerequisite of a professional sportsmen but sadly the money in the game seems to have dulled that characteristic.
Thanks for the fantastic memories, good luck in the future you living legend!

Datm will be in meltdown when schindler announces he's leaving too. Perhaps we are waiting to sign someone before that happens.

Not one negative comment, shows how much people rated him, from his first appearance to his last i never questioned his place in the side even though he had his poorer games like everyone else, in a few years we`ll fondly look back and think quite simply... Chris lowe a great leftback!
