Sorry to see him leave.
Always gave a thoughtful interview (in his second - or third etc. language)
Will miss his assured performances.
All the best to Chris for the future

Think like most he found the step up to the prem a challenge but was always reliable and very rarely let his side down with bad errors. Would have been a great player to have in the championship so losing him is a blow, but with a young family its understandable hed like to move back to Dresden where his extended family are near. Best of luck to the guy.

Shame he can’t see all these positive messages on social media but unsurprisingly (I think) he doesn’t have it. Cue someone telling me he posts what he has for tea every night. Great servant.

I really hoped he would stay, perhaps the only one that stepped up his game this year? Takes some character to do that. Thanks for 3 great years Chris. I agree that to his immense credit, Chris Lowe upped his game this season and will be a sad loss. However one other player also upped his game (at least for part of the season) and that was Phil Billing. However, can you even begin to imagine Chris Lowe putting in a performance like PB did against Bournemouth or West Ham? I don’t think for one peco-second PB is lazy but I think if he had CL’s attitude and professionalism he’d be a hell of a player rather than just a very good one.

Sad to see him go, top professional who did his best for the club whether starting or on the bench. Would have been a solid championship performer again, no doubt. Best of luck at Dresden, Chris, you go with our thanks and respect.

If we had a team of the type of player attitude that low has we would still be in the premier league.

Not one negative comment, shows how much people rated him, from his first appearance to his last i never questioned his place in the side even though he had his poorer games like everyone else, in a few years we`ll fondly look back and think quite simply... Chris lowe a great leftback! Wait while Otium wakes up. Another of those league one players (apparently) that somehow got Town into the premier league..... I thank him. He was a stalwart. Committed and reliable. Nowhere near a Prem player though and that is why he is signed by a team that just survived relegation to the German third tier. I am not going to sully the gratitude...you did it first. Thanks Chris and good luck.

It takes all sorts to make a team. For every Van la Parra, every Hefele and every Hogg, a team needs a Chris Lowe to work properly. Every successful team has one. Someone a bit quiet and reserved, but incredibly professional and often underappreciated and unsung.
Aside from the little I saw of Chilwell, Chris possessed the most all-round solidity and accomplishment of any full back I've seen play for Town. Even with the incoming exodus of players, this worries me a great deal more than any of the subsequent 'big name' departures ever could, because he is the player most symbolic of continuity. Whatever's happening with the team he puts in roughly the same level of performance week in week out. He sounded incredibly down and disheartened in his media interviews towards the end of the season to the point I was worried for his mental health, but even then he performed at the same level. In light of those comments I'm not particularly surprised he wants to return closer to his family and friends in eastern Germany.
A bit out of depth in the top tier all things considered, but as others have said was one of the few who upped his game in 18-19. Never tried anything stupid, never tried to do more than was asked of him. Every team needs a Chris Lowe, and for that reason he'll be missed a lot more than his pure footballing ability suggests.

What a guy. Someone who you knew, no matter what was happening, would always give 100%. It does mean we need to find 2 LBs now. Given how many years it took to find 1 good 1, I'm not optimistic about our recruitment prospects. Be VERY surprised if we brought two in whilst Jaden Brown is here.

Lowe was in the Tom Cowan mould to me Absolutely loved watching Lowe over last few years, and so some of our best players start to leave. An era ends.

Great player - absolutely gutted.
Said it before and I’ll say it again, playing Durm and Flo at full back whilst Chris sat on the bench was criminal. I’ve no idea what happened in training to make both Wagner and Siewert start both before him. Madness. He was our stand out player at the start of the season.

Sad to see CL leave
Always gave 100% whenever he played and is a true professional who gets the absolute maximum out of his ability
Not obviously vocal but still a leader in the group - leading by example in his dedication, will to win and crucially leading the way in those two penalty shoot outs with nerves of steel
All the best Chris and thanks for what you achieved in your time at the club

All the very best to Chris Lowe - excellent signing and played a massive part in our promotion season .
Whoever thought that Malone was a step up should have been stepped down with immediate effect.
Anyhow Chris Lowe has played a huge part in our recent success and will always be fondly remembered

A terrific summing up Bojaj. Lowe def an unsung hero for us, he will most definitely be missed and we may find it a difficult position to fill. Good luck in your next footballing adventure Chris, thanks for the memories and along with all the promotion winning team of 2017, you’ll be assured of a very warm welcome back at any point in the future. 2017! Seems like a lifetime ago after the dog of this season.

We supposedly need a backup player who can hit the ground running in every position. Mental. We ain't got the funds for that, not without lessening the first choice, as our budget is blown on contingencies. A few flexible players will hopefully help us keep our squad lean and provide scope for young lads to break through!

Would still say in a bar fight I want Hogg by my side, however if I needed someone to disappear no questions asked I’d ask Chris Lowe.

We've just let 2 players who can play left back go, we need to bring 2 in. Whether that's loans or permanents, it doesn't matter. If our starting left back breaks his leg in the 1st month of the season, do you really want to see us throw an untested kid in at the deep end for 3 or 4 months with no other option? If Kongolo stays it's different as he can play there. I'd say that's pretty unlikely though.

Chris Löwe - my favourite Town player these last few seasons. Takes the game seriously, an important presence in the dressing room and my Town player of the season 2018/19. I wish him all the very best for the future.

What would be crazy is a club going into the championship with so many weeks with two games, not having two decent players per position. We face half the squad leaving, and the rest having hefty wage cuts due to relegation clauses in their contracts. The least i expect is a squad worthy of competing at this level, week in week out with the £45m parachute payments this season!
