Can't belive what I'm reading here with so many people saying Sheffield is a shit whole. Huddersfield is probably the worst place in Yorkshire. As to boycotting the game because tickets are 36 quid. Yes it's a rip off but tickets at your place were still 30 quid and have always been expensive. Not sure were this hatred for us has come from. I don't know any Wednesday fan who really dislikes you. I'm quite looking forward to the game and think it will be a close one. Hopefully home advantage will win it for us Hole |

Fine old stadium it was - dilapidated shit pit it is now. Last saw a coat of paint pre the millennium! There is no hatred of you.....more a disdain at the arrogant entitlement many of your fans on here seem to have! Big clubs win trophies - you don't! Big fan base - yup....big potential - maybe.....bigger than us - definitely but no delusions here. |

Someone should start a thread with Forestieri and cheating in it and they'll be on it like flies round shit. No football supporter should defend some of the pricing for away fans that goes on - including charging you £30. Should be £20 max. (I've no problem with Sheffield at all, by the way, as a city it has, like Huddersfield, some very decent areas and some utter shit holes. Pretty much like every major town/city). |

I am really looking forward to this game. Up from Hampshire Friday, staying in Sheffield. Some cracking pubs. So much so,that I will be staying Saturday night too. A nice change I reckon. There will be plenty of banter. Its all good stuff. It is a favorite trip of both me and my pal. TTID

Sunderland have been in the premiership for pretty much all that time as have Newcastle. Ridiculous comparison. We've spent 4 seasons in the league 1 and the majority of the rest of the time trying to stay up in the championship. Newcastle, Sunderland and Leeds are also 1 team cities so again a ridiculous comparison. |

The way I see it you're not really classed as a rival and you're probably the Yorkshire team I'd most like to do well, after Town of course. You've been out of the Prem too long and hope you get back there soon as long as it's not at our expense. And if you think Huddersfield is the worst place in Yorkshire, you've either never been to Hudds or you've hardly been anywhere else! |

I beg to differ, I grew up in the 50s and 60s when the views from the centre were pretty much the same ex industrial town or not. You don't have to travel far out of town to get to Shelley, Meltham, Marsden, Homfirth, Kirkheaton etc. As someone else said go into any Town / City and you will find the bad and the good, it has always been so. |
