Somebody correct me if I am wrong, but, after Saturday, will the top 5 crowds (tickets sold for the four this season) watching Town at New Stadium be Man City Liverpool 1999 Newcastle Leeds Wednesday ?
All five live on TV and four from this season.

Ahh i see Town fan ref' madeley in charge of the Brighton v Newcastle match. Imagine the backlash if he sends Shelvey off , and he misses the big match on Saturday we can but hope...although i would be a tad disappointed if we were denied the opportunity to play against a world class international footballer ![rofl3](//storage.proboards.com/2448479/images/SeSjaW36fM85VTgLJ16q.gif)

Just listened to Five Live commentary BHA v Geordie, quite clear that they have totally disregarded Town, despite our tremendous form etc. Jonathan Pearce has just suggested, that Hudders, will tempted to play a strong team tomorrow! Let's hope not, number 1 priority is promotion, not winning the FA Cup, you big tub of lard. Phil Brown, stated " it's world class game." - UTT

Roger East is to referee this game - Usually do well with him in charge!

Even if we were to lose both tonight and Saturday our season would be far from over, a lot of games still left to play.

Even if we were to lose both tonight and Saturday our season would be far from over, a lot of games still left to play. at the beginning of the season a shot at the playoffs would have been fantastic, so a last 16 cup tie v City and to be in range of the autos is quite amazing i think we are well placed for a play off place with our identity and independence, oh and a sizeable gap to 7th

Something like this on Saturday you reckon?
--------------------Ward---------------------- Smith------Schindler------Hefele----------Lowe ------------Hogg----------Mooy---------------- ---Kachunga--------Brown--------Van La Parra--- -------------------Wells-----------------------
Or maybe Billing starting with Hogg coming on again?

It'll be that team. Will be a great occasion and game...hopefully with Brighton slipping up beforehand (if they play Sat afternoon)

Hopefully it's the same ref as when we were at the City Ground...

Hogg Mooy will start. Nice little run out tonight for Hoggy. The fa cup has helped us in the end as our boys have all had 6 days off whereas geordies had a fairly hard game and a long trip Tuesday. If Newcastle play well it'll be a tight game I think..fine margins can be the difference. If town start as we did against Brighton then it'll just be a case of how profligate we are. One of these days we are going to properly thump someone. It should've been the Brighton game...maybe we're saving it for the big one!

www.newcastle-online.org/nufcforum/index.php/topic,98613.0.html Some perspective from Newcastle fans. Some pretty confident, but most realise what a tough game it will be and that a draw will be a very good result for us. The thread was started just an hour after that Brighton win though when many would still be buzzing. I see we've both won our last 3 games on Sky. That's not actually going to the thread, but you'll find it if you click on 'football' and it appears fairly high up on that section.

Forget last night, we will be the real deal in the match and no way are they as good as Manchester City. We are also at home.
I expect an extremely tough game against a good side, however, they will have an extremely tough game against a good side also.
I think it will end up a score draw which I know doesn't help our automatic chances, however, it will still be a good point and still plenty of points to play for.

Least everyone will be fresh and well rested, Newcastle had a tough game against Brighton.

"For me with being at both games, the 6-0 mauling at QPR and ayoze's winner at Brighton.
Top 3 at the end of the season for me:
1. Huddersfield 2. Newcastle 3. Brighton
For some reason think Huddersfield are just going to keep winning and give us a smashing on sat."
Quote from a Newcastle forum about favourite moments of ths season and predicted top 3 - will do for me. Was also speaking to a Newcastle fan yesterday travelling down in a group of 10 to go in one of the hospitality boxes on Saturday - he was extremely confident even before their game at Brighton (he said) and even more so now. He cant see past a comfortable win for the Toon on Saturday. I cant wait to find out.

I'd snap your hand off for a draw now.
Saturday a much harder game for us than Tuesday and I (unusually for me) expected us to beat Brighton as everytime I've seen them they've been utter rubbish, whereas everytim I've seen Huddersfield they've been very good.

I for one remember that we are Humble so I won't throw out any exagerated claims of us being far superior to the Geordies on the football field. It's going to be a tough game and either side could win.

Perhaps when we are not really expecting it. UTT

I think he might start Quaner up front in an effort to upset your defence and then bring Nahki on second half.

Is this the first ever tea time kick off we've had ? Trying to cast my mind back but can't think of another..and have we sold out yet, Sean seems to think it's above the 22,400 v Wednesday.
