we need to set a marker for the run in. a nice handsome victory would be just the thing. I'd be tempted to play Quaner from the beginning but out wide as he seems more than effective in that role.

No, he can play tomorrow as the ban doesn't start until they've had the chance to appeal or not- and they can't do that until they have received the paperwork from the hearing. Mentioned previously

<xmlns:texthelpns rwthpgen="1">I can see Colin starting up top in this game, I cant see him playing Wells in all 3 games that are coming up and with Burton being a fairly physical team then this might be the one he starts in.</xmlns:texthelpns> This is the sort of game thats made for Colin really. He's the most physical striker we've got and Burton will sit very deep.

Difficult when they park the bus. Hope we spread the play and make some room for long range strikes. Billing to play for me, Whitehead would be overkill for how this game is likely to pan out.
Payne really needs to take his chance if he gets it today.

We need to get the tempo right from the start. That's easier said than done but if we can get the passes zipping quickly we will create chances. Avoid an arm wrestle at all costs. I cannot get rid of that nagging in-built pessimism developed from nearly 40 years of watching Town though. Is there a cure for this?

We need to take it one game at a time as there are no easy games and we have 9 cup finals to go in this 9 game mini-season at the end of the day. My favourite is definitely the cup final analogy. Cos nothing sums up an important league game like a cup final, played at a neutral venue, with no bearing on league position whatsoever and which goes to extra time and penalties in the event of a draw 🤔😉

They're a decent side who have drawn their past three away games, only conceding one goal so they'll be tough to break down. We can't take anything for granted.
Having said that I am confident of a win

Despite several attempts no-one gets the team correct.
Wagner never fails to surprise

Hopefully those coming in take their chance This game is the perfect chance for Lolley and Payne to show what they can do, with Brown and Palmer potentially coming back soon they may not get many more starts and Kachunga will more than likely replace one of them when he starts again

Massive concede in 94th minute. Unlucky
And Hutchinson (or should that be Crutchinson) off with another knee injury in the first half
