No not the performance but the fans who left early. You don't deserve the club. Part timers.

Agreed. I was absolutely fuming with today's result and performance. Gutless.
We lost the battle and won the war as far as I'm concerned. Overall it's the best season of my lifetime so they deserved the applause.

Some proper dicks with very irritating kids around me today. Glad they fucked off after 75mins.

I left when the third goal went in. I've shown my appreciation all season and don't need to wait until a final match lap of honour to do so. If the players aren't going to treat today's game seriously - and I defy anyone to argue otherwise - then I certainly have the right to not stick around till the end.

Why on earth would you stay? Not even the final game. Can't believe anyone was sad enough to stay tbh.

Left at half time. I'd have been more embarrassed to stay.

I stayed until after the end to applaud the players for the amazing season they have given us... if we fall short in the play offs then so be it.. I know I'm banging a very old drum but everyone of us would have easily accepted this position before a ball was kicked back in last August and be honest it's more than beyond our wildest dreams. Let us supporters not give up now and give it our all in the two games against Wednesday and see what happens

81 points! Our highest finish in decades. We win together, we lose together. However for those who left, it's quite clearly 'We win together, you lose alone".

I expected very little and found I had overestimated the amount they felt the need to give. I hope he is a master tactician and that over the past couple on months he has just been 'hiding' it very well..
To those that left early, if nobody cares too much about the game from the clubs side, then leaving early is not a crime.. We have one more home game and you can stay to the death or leave early given the 'performance'...
The lack of care was quite frightening at times.. the lack of cohesion and decision making was worse than even a half arsed effort being 'acceptable'..
If we were going to be fined, it should probably be for this week rather than last week...

Let us supporters not give up now and give it our all in the two games against Wednesday and see what happens I think I should define my opinion of 'falling short'. If we are embarrased then it does not fall into the 'falling short' category.. please lets not get into the silly quote of 'accepting this before the season starts', the season is not over as yet.. lets not get the excuses primed and ready before we have finished the season.. for a very serious business the last few weeks has been a bit of a circus, at best.. Like I said if there is a master plan coming then I hold my hands up.. The fucking cheek of people talking about part timers leaving early , some who left today I see at every game and numerous away games, is just that , fucking cheek of that waste of their time and our ours... Even on a bad day the team look like they have met at least once before and do look as though there is some sort of plan ... at least it was a pleasant day, weather wise..

A man down and a goal down after 20 minutes in an effectively dead rubber. oh yes, everyone is going to want to run their legs in to the ground to make a handful of whining supporters happy aren't they...NOT. No surprises here, save your dripping for next weekend(or not...UTT... )

Well done those who stayed, the heart of this club.
Thank you to Wagner, Hoyle and players. The best season I've seen since I became hooked back in 1979.

Feel sorry for those who left early to be honest. That 4 year old rifling one in from 6 yards out was the highlight of the afternoon!

There really are some idiotic comments on here. Why bust guts and risk tiredness and injuries in a game that was pretty much meaningless? It's about winning the war, not an irrelevant battle.

Maybe you're right, but why should people stick around to watch it? I'm pretty positive when it comes to Town and consider myself a good supporter, but if the players rightly or wrongly aren't gonna try, you can't blame supporters for finding something better to do.

No not the performance but the fans who left early. You don't deserve the club. Part timers. I've watched Town since 1962 & today for the first time ever, I left early, we were truly woeful & embarrassing. We've seen some wonderful performances this season, however the last few games, have been very disappointing - UTT.

Best part of the day was the lap of honour tbh. And the players kids having a game of footy cheered on by a big crowd, much more entertaining than their Dads had managed.

If you stayed behind you're a sad bastard with nowhere to be after tbh Ha ha! Have you finished whatever amazing thing you had to do or are you able to still do it whilst posting on here? I stayed to give them a clap, but I've no problem with people nipping off early today. Let's all relax and get behind the team for the next few weeks. No reason why we can't win these play offs.

If you stayed behind you're a sad bastard with nowhere to be after tbh I think a sad bastard is someone who feels the need to call fellow supporters who support our club through thick and thin. If you feel that way why bother coming in the first place.

The view expressed by the opening post is a pathetic one. Two games I have left early, today, and a rather shambolic play off against Peterbrough at Old Trafford. I have been attending games since 1967, part timer, don't make me bloody laugh sunshine.

Never understood people leaving early. I've played in matches which were over at half time and I wanted to leave the pitch early but you can't. You're either with the team or you're not. I feel the same way about watching. If you don't feel the same it is absolutely your right to leave early.
