I agree, but a lot on here put the boot into Bradford when they only sold 15k for their first leg.Incidently if there is a 20000 plus crowd tomrrow it will feel a lot fuller than the usual 20,000 published in the league matches, because it will be a true attendance. You obviously don't get this local rivalry thing then do you? any opportunity to stick the boot in you do! you don't stop and think oh no I'd better not say that as it may not be fair

So if theirs "only" 20,000 there tomorrow that's 18000 Town fans. I'm not a mathematician but I'm sure 18000 is more than 15000.

The fact of the matter is, if we have not sold all our tickets for what will be the biggest football league match at Town in 45 years, is very poor, very poor indeed. One thing is for certain, if we do reach Wembley there will be at least 25,000+ Town fan's there, but i would have put my house on Town selling their allocation. We cant match Leeds or The MASSIVE in terms of crowds, but saying that their both huge cities, but this is our biggest game in a life time, against our neighbours and we cant sell out!.

The thing that annoys me the most is the fact that we sold out a pre season friendly against Liverpool and the cup game again Man City. Just shows how many twats there are in Huddersfield that only turn up to watch the opposition.

From a financial point of view it's not going to make a big difference if it's not a sell out. The income for all four matches is pooled and shared equally. It looks like costs plus 50% to the EFL are deducted and we get a quarter share of the remaining 50%. See article 5.3 onwards but it explains why 20 quid per ticket was agreed across the matches www.efl.com/global/playoffrules.aspx

Established Premier League Team West Brom at home to Chelsea in a match that can seal the Premier League title.
The crowd?, 25,367.
We ain't far off that for bog standard league Championship home games.
For fucks sake can we start to see the positive in the crowds we achieve not the perceived negative.
Our crowds are superb given the lack of success over the years and size of Town.

A Town the size of Huddersfield is like a city the size of Leeds getting about 100,000.

The only reason people are getting stressed about it not being a complete sell out is because they don't like getting taunted by teenagers from Leeds and wendies on social media! Who cares, grow a pair and tell em to fuck off.
It's a record crowd for a play off game for us in a season of record breaking attendances Ffs.

But we can stuff Bradford in the cock measuring stakes in any way. No need to exaggerate or manipulate, just point to the facts. Its them who have the "we are bigger than you issue" not us. The majoority of their fans seem to still actually believe they get 18,000 for home games.

Just shows how many twats there are in Huddersfield that only turn up to watch the opposition. Thats everwhere unfortunately. I was walking back to my car in Fartown after the Fulham game and some random youth shouts out Town are shit, 4-1 hahah etc. So I said who do you support and he says Barcelona. And you have seen exactly how many games? Scotland gets me. How the hell can people from say Dundee or Inverness support Celtic or Rangers? but they do, far more than support the pars or caledonian.

Guys, chill out about the crowd thing. You'll have a jubilant crowd either way.
The scoreline is all that matters.

From wednesday board
Failure to sell out for this game is quite pathetic. Huddersfield clearly doesn't want, or isn't ready, Premier League football. 10
How about Bournemouth then? Or Watford or Swansea? Town outnumbered them 2 to 1 at wembley once. Every time I read their board I hate these twats more and more. Ive said it before but I dont care about the premier league. I have always supported a lower division club. I could quite easily support Man U. But I really hope we knock this club out. utterly pathetic premier league attitude.

We were a top division team in my lifetime total mismanagement and fan apathy since, at least weve got some pride and ambition back thanks DH and DW - but they got a point not to sell out is pathetic but who cares reallythe game will ultimately be won on the field - size of crowd gaurantees nothing its the noise and support those there that matters, also and i believe we got the better first XI with players like Smith Lowe Brown Mooy Schindler Kachunga ,if we play the style that has defined us it will be like Brighton at home a convincing win , if we approach the game like we have in our lost games of the last 2 months the tie will be over tomorrow

From the start. Bighton, RVLP skinned Bruno, he fouled him twice, got booked and should have been sent off. This was defining moment in that match.

All these glory hunters will never have that feeling we had against Sheffield United at Wembley when that penalty went skyward and we could be on the verge of that again! Following a premier league team on Sky will never give you that.

I've never understood this cock sizing game between supporters on crowd figures, it's absolutely ridiculous. What a surprise after 46 games when the average attendance is well known that a team suddenly doesn't have X amount of extra fans...
As much as a fans support can help it doesn't swing it's foot at exactly the right moment, exactly the right angle to put the ball in the net.
Basically, fuck off Wednesday supporters. You've achieved nothing with extra bodies through the turnstiles.

It's our biggest game for 5 years. Not even that. The Barnsley final game in 2013 was a bigger game in many ways. Ive no idea where all this paranoia about selling out comes from. Tomorrow we'll see a huge crowd by town's standards. One of the biggest we've had in the stadium, which baring in mind its a first leg, is fine IMO.

Maybe having thousands of fans who come out of the woodwork for the very big games is the sign of being ready for and wanting the premiership?
