I thought SJ revealed yesterday that ticket sales as of Sunday were 13000. Didn't say anything about how many we had sold as of yesterday. I went to ticket office today at lunch time. A few people queuing. Sean Jarvis @seanmjarvis · 22h22 hours ago Ticket sales for Sunday (on day 2) up to 13,000 selling fast and #fillingup - make sure you get yours. He means for Sunday's game. Tweet sent out at 5pm so that would've been close of play yesterday. Not sure what he means, 'day two of sales'. I'd pay for and bought my tickets on Friday last week.

SJ just revealed 15000 sold and not gone on general sale yet. Lots of room showing on the seating plan, this has got to be a sell out though surely.

If its not that then we must have only shifted 1500 since Sunday, and opened up today to new ST holders of which there is a potential 2500ish uptake. I've just got 5 this evening and had no bother getting decent seats centre Kilner Bank. Plan was predominantly Amber in colour except for FM where there was a fair bit of green. Don't think it will sell out personally. Combination of shit KO, and on Sky, plus potential low expectation levels. I know a few ST holders on stag do's this weekend too, and only 50% of those I got my ST with next year are going down on Sunday. But who cares, numbers meant nothing at St. Nazaire, so they certainly mean little at the footy if the passion is there in spades!

SJ is normally 2 days behind on his sales figures, day 2 was sundays sales at 13,000 ..so there's Monday, Tuesday and Today.. He's said tonight 15,000 at day 3..so that's Mondays sales included..still yesterdays and todays to count.. This includes 2,000 wednesday tickets,so we've 7,000 to shift as he said capacity is around 22,000 due to segregation and sky cameras.etc
edit to this - SJ thought Monday was day one, not Friday (he's been off cycling)..so confirmed 13,000 as of tonight..general sale 6pm tomorrow..

He never said we had sold 13,000 on Sunday. He was saying 13,000 sold for the game on Sunday when he tweeted yesterday.

Crowd will be about 20,000. Not sure but think that would be our best for a home play off game.
Not brilliant by this seasons standards, but not bad with it being the 1st leg and on TV.

Got over 19000 against Mansfield in 2004 and over 19000 v Barnsley in 2006. I don't think either games were on TV though.

A Championship playoff semi !! We have to sell this out surely? Would have if we were home second leg, or had the Saturday tea time KO, but not 12pm on Sunday. The most sterile KO time possible in my view, energetic games and atmospheres are rare as hens teeth at this KO time. I bloody hate it, but can't miss it.

Any idea if there is any possibility to get a ticket on general sale if you don't have a previous purchases with Huddersfield. I'm over in England from Ireland for the weekend and would love to get to the game if possible.

Just around the location for the weekend and see this as a very exciting game which I would like to see.

If you can prove that you're what you say you are in a DM to me I'll give you a code to buy a ticket. Fair? You have to support town from now on though, and spread the good world on the green Isle.

The chances of not not getting one are almost none This needs upgrading to "absolutely zero " For all that we talk about big city clubs having poor attendance per population I really scratch my head at the population of Huddersfield sometimes... it's likely there will have been more fans present for the Liverpool friendly than for this match . What the fuck ? People on here might trot out that it's on a Sunday, on sky, recent form ( ) etc but the truth is if we had given Wednesday 20k for this fixture they would probably have sold them. And they could have probably sold double their ground capacity for their home leg. That's what it means to them I'm loving the NSL thing this year and the fact that oppo fans only get half an end.. but truth is there are 2k plus Town fans who would normally have been able to get into hillsborough but can't, whilst at our gaffe there will be empty blue seats.. it's really frustrating imo

Most prem teams give very similar numbers. I'm all for home advantage, but if we'd of drawn Fulham or reading we would still only be getting 2k.

But am I not right in thinking that was something agreed at a meeting a week or two ago ? And it's likely we would either have proposed it or enthusiastically agreed to it ? Then we can't even sell the tickets I'm not saying we should have given Wednesday the away end or owt like that . All I'm saying is isn't it a shame it's likely there will be a few 1000 seats going begging at ours, and our usual 4k plus allocation for hillsborough has been halved.

Sales should pick up again with tickets going on general sale online at 6pm tonight and 9am at the ticket office in the morning, I must say looking at the online seating plan I'm surprised there's so many still available but as other's as said there ]s a lot of contributing factors, Sunday, 12 0'clock, telly, poor form etc but bloody hell how many times will we get this chance of getting to the premier league come on we need every man women and child behind the team I don't see a huge spike in sales when seats go on general sale personally ..
