Cannot underestimate just how much David Wagner & Town need a noisy, partisan, full house this Sunday as our 12th man in what is our biggest match for over 45 years & probably most of our lifetimes. This first leg we absolutely need to get a positive result to take to what will be a packed hillsborough. Make no mistake this game is huge for us & I would not miss getting down to watch it live for anything. Bought all out tickets & at these prices just £20 adult£5 kids for such a huge game is another fantastic gesture from Deano & the club. Get them tickets bought, don't miss it & let's raise the roof for this season home game finale. The prize awaiting us is the ultimate for us as fans, our club & David Wagner. If ever there was a game this is it! 💙 UTT

Sunday needs to be a noisy, rowdy, intimidating atmosphere. Remember our play-off away leg at Millwall a few years ago ?...remember Bradfords play-off away game at Milwall last year ? IMO they absolutley overawed us/Bradford (& both sets of players) on both occasions, that's exactly what we need this Sunday....nothing aggresive/ill tempered/bad natured, just pure noise, passion & adrenelin...lets scare the fukc out of em and go to their place with the advantage, cos its sure as hell gonna be lively there !

When the NSL first took residence in the, er, North Stand, there was lots of ticker tape streamers and blue and white paper etc thrown in the air. It would be great if we could get the FMU and FML to replicate that at one end with the flags and banners in the other.

I too was going to post on this subject. One last big effort from just before midday on Sunday required Town fans. All 4 stands.
Leave nothing in the stands....

If memory serves, this is probably the biggest club we've ever faced in a p/o semi-final? Going away to Wed is a different scenario than going away to the likes of Peterborough or the MK Dons (with all due respect). So totally agree with the OP that the home leg is likely to be where this tie is won or lost for ourselves.
Not suggesting we couldn't do the job at Hillsboro' but is an entirely different proposition to many of the away semi final games we've played...
Thankfully there have been some cracking atmospheres already this season, so the players shouldn't be over-awed...
This is it folks, it's tribal now, no quarter given...

The home leg against Bournemouth is my favourite ever Town match. Magical atmosphere before the game with everyone singing Smile Awhile and the clappers painting blue and white stripes around the pitch. I think the supporters dragged the team over the line that day and we can do it again on Sunday.
More of the same on Sunday and no Hey Jude at the start would be spot on.

You people that are going are very very lucky. You might just witness something special, something magical that you can recount to your grandchildren in years to come.I can't go, but its going to be a great Sunday. Up at 7 am to watch the match (Come on Town). Then bacon sarnies. Then watch the Spanish Grand prix(Come on Lewis). Out for Sunday bloody marys then back home to watch the end of the Players(Come on Westwood) in my back yard. Top top day.

Losing sleep already, so nervous, proud and excited all at one . History is being written and we are part of it. I'm not sure how I'll cope on Sunday, think a tear or two might be shed through pure emotion. Sing loud and proud ladies and gentlemen no matter what the scoreline. Last home game of an amazing season, let's finish on a high!

NSL have a big display planned for Sunday, our best yet IMO.
Hopefully that will help spring the South Stand, and the rest of the stadium into action.

Cant someone ask the club to bin that song. Played by half the football league and nothing to do with our club. I would rather have a brass band playing smile awhile properly. In the old days the crowd wound themselves up before kick off in big games.

They have a nice sale on Jamieson's Irish whiskey at my local store too.

Hopefully I wake up the rest of the house celebrating a couple of town goals.

Unlike nick, I think our support has been phenomenal. On Sunday I've no doubt the town fan base will be bang up for it. All four sides have been making noise all season, I've no doubt that Sunday will be no different.
