Losing sleep already, so nervous, proud and excited all at one . History is being written and we are part of it. I'm not sure how I'll cope on Sunday, think a tear or two might be shed through pure emotion. Sing loud and proud ladies and gentlemen no matter what the scoreline. Last home game of an amazing season, let's finish on a high! I could've written this. Glad it's not just me who is like this - I can think about nothing else and already feel emotional!!

I was fine till it suddenly dawned on me on Monday that we are in the championship playoffs and 3 games off the premier league, I'll be honest every time I think about it now it makes me feel sick with nerves.

If we score an early ish goal then your noisey crowd will soon go flat...not wanting to sound I'm having a pop at your stadium or owt but the acustics doesn't ever seem that good there.
Come on Wednesday we are ready .

Cannot underestimate just how much David Wagner & Town need a noisy, partisan, full house this Sunday as our 12th man in what is our biggest match for over 45 years & probably most of our lifetimes. This first leg we absolutely need to get a positive result to take to what will be a packed hillsborough. Make no mistake this game is huge for us & I would not miss getting down to watch it live for anything. Bought all out tickets & at these prices just £20 adult£5 kids for such a huge game is another fantastic gesture from Deano & the club. Get them tickets bought, don't miss it & let's raise the roof for this season home game finale. The prize awaiting us is the ultimate for us as fans, our club & David Wagner. If ever there was a game this is it! 💙 UTT Dean is that you in disguise ? 😂

I have been to two play off finals - Mansfield and Bristol Rovers - its so frickin nerve wracking that its hard to enjoy the moment. During the Sheff United final (watched on TV), I couldn't sit down, so I stood up because I love the Town. The wife came in to see me waving about with hands above my head during the penalty shoot out - What are you doing she asked...Waiting for glory I said.

Come on Wednesday we are ready . Been to Sheffield Wednesday away a fair few times and it's basically a grotty morgue with a big fucking patchy lawn in the middle of it. Owls talk is where you belong, take nick hudd with you and fuck off.

We need to create a wall of noise throughout the game, which will spur the players on & get the stadium apspu

God it must have been a while since you came here as we've got a state of the art pitch now however the away end is still grotty as you say but who cares. Who's nick Hudd? Sup wi him ?

Deano has done more than his bit to subsidise tickets so that everyone can get down & back the boys for this one. Deano & David Wagner clearly want a full house of noisy passionate Town fans really up for it this Sunday. It's not a game for watching on tv, you just have to be there for this one as a Town fan. Now let's live it, love it, smash it! Come on the Town! 💙 UTT

ha ha - no not normal. sunday brunch bloody marys..with bacon and shrimp..maybe an olive for good measure. Keith's a bloody amateur. It's 4 am for me. Fortunately, since I have a no alcohol before noon rule, 4 am can be considered the night before. They have a nice sale on Jamieson's Irish whiskey at my local store too. Ha...yes, continue drinking through the Sat night, so technically Sunday 4am is still part of Saturday Problem solved.

The home leg against Bournemouth is my favourite ever Town match. Magical atmosphere before the game with everyone singing Smile Awhile and the clappers painting blue and white stripes around the pitch. I think the supporters dragged the team over the line that day and we can do it again on Sunday. More of the same on Sunday and no Hey Jude at the start would be spot on. The noise as we restarted after we'd gone 3-2 down, I think made a real difference. I hope we can make that kind of racket from the off. Agreed re 'Hey jude' 'Rip this joint' by Stones would get my vote

Don't know why you were nervous during the Sheff United penalty shoot out ?...It was never in any doubt mate ! I am still nervous now!!! That shoot out was the first time my wife had seen me going nuts over a football game. Yelling at the TV, the despair as we started the shoot out so badly and then elation when we won. Don't think she really understood until then how much it meant to me. I can't imagine how I would react if we were to win the play offs this time around. Think I would be in a state of shock for a while.

remember the Bournemouth shootout? My old man couldn't handle it at all and left, as did a few more of the older generation.

There's no finer place to be than when the John Smith's is in full voice, there's been many opposition fans comment this season on how they've never known an atmosphere like it for an ordinary league game and this is no ordinary league game let's crank it up!

I'm not nervous one bit......Wagner will have them so fired up its untrue, just watch us go FULL THROTTLE. WE WILL BEAT Wednesday. On our day we are far too good for anyone, and I've just got that feeling this will be our day.

I understand the Thin Lizzy track is one of Dean's faves so we'll let that one go but the former has to be binned (does it gee anyone up?). Pondered on this recently and I wondered whether the intro to say AC/DC For Those About To Rock or some Guns n' Roses track (not Sweet Child O Mine please) would work. Only needs to be for that bit where the team come out onto the pitch and always seemed to me over the years either a rock track or something classical works best. Maybe a bit late to change it now and perhaps a small point but wants sorting for next season.

They just seem to have all these great intro's and riffs.

Wow...will you come back for Wembley ? (should we get there) ? I've booked my flights, as a positive forward thinking solution. I emailed Sue Beaumont & Sean Jarvis a few days ago, in the hope I could get some away tickets. Flying over on the 18th and back on the 31st, I'm even bringing some Americans. But, to no avail on tickets. So it's Sunday morning early start for me (It's Mothers Day in the US on Sunday) but will be having a fairly large group over to watch it/Stream it. Then to watch it in a London bar somewhere for the Wednesday night. Hoping this trip turns out to be a super memorable one for all the right reasons. Haven't been back to the UK for 2 and half years.

Damn right, this will be my personal intro music (in my head!) for both games, full volume, spine tingling Fans have a MASSIVE part to play, no fooking groaning when a pass goes a stray or gasping, just 100% non stop positive encouragement. If VLP tries an audacious nutmeg on the half way line and it doesn't come off bite your fcuking tongue and keep it shut FFS! You know who you are!!! NSL can make the difference on Sunday and get the rest of the crowd going, it will give the team a huge advantage, they need the crowd. Also any Town fan thinking of watching it on the telly instead of turning up when you are able to is not a true fan and should be ashamed of themselves. Unless you are at least 110 years old this is about as good as it gets so get your arse down and support your team. It's also 20 quid FFS.
