You have to understand our average home crowd is artificially high by the cheap season tickets and publishing all STs even when they do not attend. You can probably knock 3k off that average this season, and if we had £350-400 STs as normal, even this season would probably only average 14-15,000. You can see this by the perceived lack of interest in the first leg. I have been going since the mid 70s and for the vast majority of that time Town have been in the bottom 2 divisions, so I do not see us as established at this level, I always think our natural position is top end of the third tier. So you're a town fan on a town forum, being extremely negative about your own team, (and incorrect on the attendances btw) in an argument with a rival fan who is actually defending town? even is datm anymore Which part of my post is inaccurate pal? Our crowds in the ground are less than the published attendance, yes? What in your opinion would the average attendance be this season if we payed 350-400 quid for a season ticket? Last year we had about 7,000 season ticket holders. ere was nothing to suggest we would have shifted many more if the club hadnt reduced the price. Which division have Town spent the vast majority of the last 40 years in? I know we have the potential to be bigger but the why is it negative to point out the facts? I know all about Towns history and I ve been in the ground with less than three thousand and more than 29,000 so I dont understand your point. Do you want to us to be like the deluded Bradford fans who come on here ?
