Sums up the play offs, it is 95% down to luck. Nothing came off for Fulham tonight, on another day they would have won that comfortably Will we be on the right side of the luck tomorrow? I bloody well hope so A simplistic and incorrect conclusion. Reading better in first leg and should have scored 2nd when Swift missed open goal. Fulham shots well saved by Al Habsi. Nothing to do with luck. Reading better prepared and mentally stronger. .....and just think Harry Bunn was tearing Guthrie a new one a couple of seasons ago. No fears.

Come on Town. If we can get past Wednesday, I genuinely think we could do Reading. We will never have a better chance than this. And this is from someone whose glass is normally half empty. Come on lads, play the game of you're lives Tommorow. I believe in you. UTT

Hate to be negative but I struggle to see us defending like Reading just did for 30 odd minutes. If we are going to go through, attack is the best form of defence for us. We'll get hold of the ball.

Can't understand why Fulham brought that big lump of a striker on then fannied around for 15 minutes playing tippy tappy outside the box instead of pumping it in for him ? What's the point of 10 passes across the box with 94 on the clock ? Well done reading anyway, i did tip them (see earlier comment)... As for Fulham, well when it came to the crunch, current form and smacking in loads of goals during the season count for zilch in the play offs...

No real reason though? As a minimum we would have a 50/50 chance against Reading. Nothing to fear. a penalty that needed the ref in exactly the right position to even see it, never mind give it??? I dont fear Reading, Fulham didnt much either.. There is something about them though, not exactly sure what it is.. might be teamwork and kermogant being the cleverest centre forward in the division.. Have to get there first, though..

If we do go through then anyone who underestimates Reading is a clown.

Umpteen Fulham passes in the box being millimetres from being perfect, a handball that would not happen 99/100 when running in to the box like that. Yet when they played us everything came off for them. It's all very fine margins and in my book luck has a lot to do with it

This is a seminal moment in our history have the boys got the bottle? Are they brave enough and good enough? We might need a slice of luck but its up to the players to seize this perhaps once in a lifetime opportunity to reach the promised land...good luck and god bless our wonderful club

Of course - and I agree about Kermogant - he has actually pissed on our parade many times. Big credit to Stamm for me. Very solid and calm. Don't think they could take us apart like Fulham could. We will be able to play our normal game against them. We were very unlucky down there and I thought fully deserved it at our place. Reading have a wretched play off record. Still history counts for knowt - tomorrow or at Wembley. Playing our own game is what counts and I think it's enough. Did Kermogant cleverly push the defenders arm up towards the ball!!

Massive incentive for both Town and Wednesday, just ratchets it all up another notch for tomorrow night. Could be a real nerve shredder.

Reading play a very different style I have no doubts Fulham would have beaten us or Wednesday over two games as the game would open up, reading are very compact and hard to break down.

Again ? Ever ? In your lifetime ? Ever in a trillion yeats No doubt this season has surprised everyone but when you look at who played Sunday there was only Mooy and Brown who were not permanent signings. You can probably add award tomorrow but there's no reason we can't replace them even if it has to be loaners. Contrary to a lot of opinions we are not a team of loanees and I think we can be strong again next year if it came to that. Obvious hoping we go up but I don't see it as our only chance ever.

It was an awful game to watch at home to Reading when they set up to mirror us, if we got through will they do the same again ?

Agree 100% . It's been a great season this year with some decent teams. I think it will be a tougher division next season though.
