Tried the Premier League before and failed. Expect to see him in the lower leagues within 18 months, but only if he significantly drops his wage expectations.

I would be shocked if Norwich did sign him, he spent most of last season on the bench. A good lad who did great for us and Blackburn but he's a had a few lean seasons and he's championship standard at best.

All about opinion as ever - for the Championship I'd have him back in a shot. Would have to decimate his wages though...
