Massive own goal.

Why haven't they done x/10 years rather than last 3, 2, 1, surely that make a sense first?

I'm definitely priority 1 so I'm happy. I am a BWF member and so had top priority last year and I was able to buy tickets for my son as well as he was classed as a junior BWF member, so I'm hoping this applies again this year.

The club have done a good job of this. No complaints despite my personal disappointment. It seems fair enough to reward the most loyal fans (ok, we can all pull out stories of away days on a bitterly cold night when there were less than 100 of us in some shite open end with 20ft fences). One question that immediately springs to mind though is how open to abuse is this system? For example if your old next door neighbour is priority 1 but never goes to away games could they, in theory and as morally reprehensible as it is, get a ticket for someone else?

Is the top priority just had a season ticket for 10 years or the last 10 years? The word "last" is in the priority 2 details but not 1.

For those that are BWF I would say if you chose to become BWF simply from the point of view of ticketing priority then that was the wrong decision. BWF offers more than ticketing priority.
But I think the club have made a reasonably balanced solution and the Ballot will be useful for many once details are announced.
Interestingly, it seems historically only an average of 700 tickets have been used by Priority 1, which if you take into account the ballot (on the basis of 3000 allocation) leaves 2000 for P2, P3, P4 & P5 of course that reduces to 1100 on a 2000 allocation.

I think they've done it the fairest way tbh. I've been a season ticket holder since 03 but I don't blue and white or anything fancy like that so I'm priority 3.

In a similar ish position including having lived abroad, but I can understand the system and don't feel that it's massively unfair at all.

Ultimately, the answer is yes unless you introduce biometric testing at grounds...but I'd think numbers will be minimal as most of us want tickets to go to regulars even if we can't get there personally.

As for the priority system, I'll miss out despite going to a lot of away games over the years yet there is no system that fits all. This is the fairest way. Go pick your toys and bottom lip up.

Season ticket for 11 years but I'm only priority 3. Was always going to be some people who felt hard done by. Anybody got any idea how many people fall in each category? If you had one 11 years you should be one of the loyal 4000 the way I read it you are at least category 2

With so many categories I expect people in the top priorities will only get a couple of days to decide if they want to go. Also when will the ballot be? and if its before the priority process ends will people in the priority categories be able to participate e.g even for category 1 folk there could be a chance they might not get a ticket for Manure so might want to enter the ballot Ballot info is to be released later. However. If you think about it, it doesn't really matter when the ballot is opened. It's a ballot. As long as the ballot closes after the priority ticket sales have finished is all that matters.

How about having one from 1987 to 2003, 2007 to 2010 and 2016 - probably death.

I'm just saying... not complaining because as many have said, any scheme is bound to disappoint some.

I've had a season ticket since 1979. Have seen Town at over 100 different grounds but because of family pressures I've had to limit aways to 3-4 a season in the past 3yrs. I'm Priority 3 and I fully understand why. Not a problem with that at all. My biggest problem will be gaining the good lady's approval to go to Aways anyway! Think it's a reasonably fair system to be honest. Possibly could have been an extra layer for those who have had season tickets for 10+ yrs but without the additional stuff. But I'm probably just saying that as I would fall into that category. If you have had season ticket since 1979 then your one of the loyal 4000 ?

You won't like this but that'd better not be the case. If the test the club are running is how much money you've put into the club then there is no way a junior can get an away ticket based on a parent with BWF membership ahead of someone who's had a full adult season ticket for however many years.
