The club were on a hiding to nothing with this would always leave an element of fans pissed off what ever they decided. This is what it is I'm sure if people want tickets there will be ways to get them.

The club have done a good job of this. No complaints despite my personal disappointment. It seems fair enough to reward the most loyal fans (ok, we can all pull out stories of away days on a bitterly cold night when there were less than 100 of us in some shite open end with 20ft fences). One question that immediately springs to mind though is how open to abuse is this system? For example if your old next door neighbour is priority 1 but never goes to away games could they, in theory and as morally reprehensible as it is, get a ticket for someone else? That is a very good point Alex.

I'm 1 of the 4000 and I'm priority 3. You need to have B&W or TOT as well to be top 2. Well I am one of the loyal 4000 and Blue and white foundation that's category 1 and am sure category 2 reads for loyal 4000 2 is super priority and SC holder for last 3 years. Loyal 4000 doesn't come in it

Hahahaha what a plant pot. The system is the fairest, just because it doesn't put you in priority 1 doesn't mean it's wrong. Club was formed in 1908.... not when dean hoyle took over. That would punish fans who werent born 15/20/25 years ago. The fairest system has been implemented. It's hard to really have any sympathy for someone that is a massive WUM.

It's only going to be the big clubs where it's going to be manic and the northernish ones that stay at a Saturday 3pm that will be tough to get.
Watford, Southampton, Brighton, Swansea, Bournemouth there won't be a huge demand.
Stoke, Leicester, West Brom, West Ham if they are moved to a Sunday or Midweek I can't see there being a ridiculous demand. Palace would of been in that group if it wasn't first game.
Then Man Utd, Man City, Spurs, Liverpool, Everton, Arsenal, Chelsea and probably Newcastle due to the day out and Burnley due to the locality everyone in town will want to go to.

Think all the Priority 1 fans who didn't go to Manchester Citeh last season should be immediately moved in to P5.

Why was i not consulted personally ? What a silly convoluted system. Complex and weighted too heavily for season ticket holders. After being an England member for 27 years i have seen all sorts of strange systems fail. Rule changes mid tournament, near riots at collection points. The 4000 who have held season tickets for 10 years will simply buy them for friends even when they dont go, they will also buy to sell on...that is inevitable and England Supporters club sussed this 10 years ago .... you now have to turn up at every game with photo ID. There will be people who get EVERY away game...there will be thousands who wont see a SINGLE away game...and that is simply wrong or unfair. Fans who have been going for 40 years denied even 1 ticket. I would have made the ballot 50% of the total tickets...get a ticket in a ballot and you cant apply the next ballot. That way every fan would get to see at least 4 or 5 away games. Sure, 50% of the tickets should be prioritised but 90%? There are plenty of folk without season tickets who have spent more money watching Town than folk with cheap 10 year home season tickets...thats for sure. Before anyone kicks off, i am OK for tickets..its just not equitable in my opinion. The priority beyond 1 will be obsolete. If we get 2000 away tickets then 200 will go to HTAFC corporate and the other 1800 will simply all go to priority 1 applicants....this is now certain. If you dont have a season ticket you simply wont see a single away game even if you paid in to every home game the last 40 last years. I think you're missing the point All well and good complaining about the system but how do you manage your proposal? And are there really people who have "paid into every game for 40 years" If those people exist, you have to question their ability to make a rational decision. Why wouldn't they buy a season ticket.

Good news!! By our 3rd season in the Prem you will be able to get to most of the away games as the cheap seats wont want West Brom away on a Wednesday night

As said apart from the big 7 I reckon there will be tickets available. Are we going to take 3,500 to Southampton on the 23rd of December? Probably not.

Ballot info is to be released later. However. If you think about it, it doesn't really matter when the ballot is opened. It's a ballot. As long as the ballot closes after the priority ticket sales have finished is all that matters. Doesn't it give high priority folk two dibs? Depends if they consider the decrease in by priorities and on to the ballot as being expanding pools or discrete pools I suppose. I see ballot as being like an old general sale scenario, except you've much chance if you buy at 9am as it opens, as you do at 5pm on the be last day. In the old general sale, people who had higher priority and a "protected window" could still join back in. We'll see, it is what it is for this season at least.

Not got time to read 18 pages, so apologies if this has already been brought up.
If I'm category 1 (over 10 yrs season ticket and BWF) and my son is category 2 (over 3 yrs and BWF), how on earth can I get us two tickets sitting together if I can't purchase his at the same time as mine?

To be honest even though I'm priority 1 I won't be going to all the away games. I have no interest in Bournemouth or Southampton away, been to both, ironically in League One days and they are a bloody long way. I just can't be arsed schlepping all that way Premier League or not. I'm probably not even going to go to West Ham either which I did want to go to but not on a Monday night.

I am unclear despite reading the last few pages on this thread.
I have BWF membership but no season ticket for a while.
Am I priority 1 or zero priority?
