MERCATO The 28/06/2017 with 21:20 Mounié will sign tomorrow in Huddersfield (info Madein) Image: www.madeinfoot.com/img/photos/ligue-1/2016/une/l1-20161218151945-1465.jpgMounie will definitely leave the MHSC tomorrow "He is in England, the principle would like him to sign there," Laurent Nicollin was categorical, Monday, at the press conference of the Montpellier Herault SC. In front of the media, the president-delegate of the pailladin club, accompanied by Michel Der Zakarian, played outright when announcing the definitive departure of his striker Steve Mounié (14 goals, 3 assists in 35 L1 games) in Huddersfield Only after his debut in Ligue 1. The strong Benin striker of 22 years (it will have 23 in January), according to our information, spent almost all his medical visit today. This Thursday, at noon, he will officially sign his lease with the British team, promoted in the Premier League at the end of this season. The "good economic operation" promised by Laurent Nicollin is around the amount of the transaction. The British will disburse, in fact, 13 million euros to recruit the attacker trained in Montpellier. A further € 2.5 million in bonuses is promised to the MHSC. What made him the biggest transfer of the Hérault club, in front of Olivier Giroud. "Steve's case is an opportunity both for him and for us. It's a great operation for the club," said the leader

Garbage based on 1 game? Thanks for that insight. I've just said I don't have insight I never saw him play... but from what I've read he was total shit and him getting embarrassed by Shrewsbury didn't help.. but I might be wrong it might have been language or whatever you said I went to Shrewsbury and Paurevic came on at HT. He was very poor, completely off the pace and misplaced the simplest of passes.

He never had a hope to be fair to him.

Whatever he's doing, where ever he is, I hope he's happy, because I am.😀

You pull back the curtain And the sun burns into your eyes You watch a plane flying Across a clear blue sky This is the day, your life will surely change This is the day, when things fall into place
(Except the weather is shite and no blue sky to be seen)

Its a year today since we announced Schindler as our record signing. It would be fitting to announce our latest record signing exactly one year on and if we stay up we could maybe make it an annual event.

Anyone got any idea what is going on with this signing? Seems like it has leaked all over the press for a week, medical supposedly all done yesterday, still no official announcement. Are Town trying to make this the most boring closed season of all time or did the new kit get lost in the mail?

It would be fitting to announce our latest record signing exactly one year on and if we stay up we could maybe make it an annual event. By my reckoning Schindler was our seventh signing last summer. DW always said it was important to get new players in early. If it's right that Town are back for pre-season next Tuesday they're going to have to get a move on! Obviously not knowing what league we'd be in till end May hasn't helped. My prediction is Mooy, Mounie and possibly Williams will be in by next week, with Mooy being given another week off.

It's not enough to spend £10m on Mooy, £11.5m on Mounie and £8m on Ince...we need to do it now!!
Calm down kids. It's like lord of the flies on here.

I agree, it sounds about right. I wonder if they are waiting for it to get to July 1st (which is Saturday but maybe wait until Monday 3rd)to announce the signings or as many have speculated the maybe waiting to for the new kit launch to reveal the new players. I will just have to wait. In other years I've not been to worried about signings; thinking that well we will see by the first game of the season. This season though is different. The signings we make will decide how much of a chance we have at staying up next season. If we have Mooy, Mounie, Williams and have either of Palmer or Brown coming back, then I think we have a good chance. I wish I wasn't on tenterhooks waiting on news of signings.

Wagner was building for 2016/17 8/9 months before the season started. We have only been a Premier League side for one month exactly.

I can just see it now, Mounie's agent coming out of Dean Hoyle's office after tense contract negotiations;
Mounie 'How did you get on boss?' Agent 'Great news!' Mounie 'Payrise?' Agent 'Nah, 25% decrease on the Montpellier wage.... but its not all bad. He's offered you free greetings cards for life'

I don't get how he hasn't been spotted. Maybe he's yet to actually visit the stadium. I honestly don't think we'd know about the Depoitre signing if his agent hadn't taken a sneaky pic.

I read somewhere (on here probably) that the medical (assuming it has happened) was in Manchester, although I assume he'll still have visited Huddersfield to look at the ground and Canalside.

it could be part of the deal with the new sponsors that they get the new guys wearing the new kit. It is likely to be a substantial £s deal. You are most wise I think Sorry to disappoint i am bit of a dick

Should just announce it like every other club does. Know idea why they behave like this. It's great you know every other club's policy towards making signings. I assume it's that, rather than you've made a totally unfounded statement
