That's all the confirmation I need regarding the Forestieri half-rumour (Ridiculous) chant for Mounie: If this isn't his chant then we should all hang our heads in shame. Love the O'Jays but surely someone can come up with some words to the Kaiser Chiefs-"Ruby" "Mounie, Mounie, Mounie, Mounie"

Depends how you interpret it. I read it as he already passed his medical last Wednesday. They say "passes" and suchlike. I think he's maybe had medical but is away to "sort stuff out" before returning to formalise the contract if indeed he does join. Remember last year at this time he was in London and had a medical and talks with Fulham before ultimately opting for Porto. Haha no, he didn't. subject to a medical it says near the beginning.

Exactly, it only says 'set to sign'. My uncle would be turning in his grave if he knew what had happened to that rag. He started off at The Examiner and moved on to The Daily Express and got himself a house by the Thames in Weybridge for his troubles. Can't imagine any of the current crop of so called journalists achieving anything like that these days. It was obviously a respected paper back in the day.

It's pronounced Moo-nee-ay. Three syllables. The acute accent on the e makes the difference.

Re Mounie 's transfer; the word passe in their chairman's statement would indicate that he is taking his medical on Wednesday. The verb passer here means to take not to pass anything like an exam . I'm just an old retired French teacher, lol.

See if you get a warning for posting examiner stuff, prob not. He didn't create a new thread for it though did he? Whereas you would have done and given it a title that even Bletchley Park would have struggled to decipher.

See if you get a warning for posting examiner stuff, prob not. It's not like he created a new thread, is it? You were creating a new thread everytime something from the examiner appeared on the newsnow feed, I'm not surprised the admins had a word.
