Yes, I'm hopeful that they'll Mark RVLP's goal with a card. Certainly not seen a better one this weekend.

BINGO!! There IS a Topps NOW! card of RVLP's goal. I'll contact my usual buyers for their orders and place a picture here when I can.

Cheers, Phil. I'm out and about and can't post pictures with my phone, so would have done it when I get back. Like you, I'm disappointed it's not the actual goal shot, but perhaps there just aren't any of him swinging his leg at it.

And ... Topps PREMIER GOLD 2017-18 Coming soon ... cartophilic-info-exch.blogspot.co.uk/2017/11/topps-premier-gold-201718-01-first-news.htmlI queried the content with Alan - a Cardiff City fan - who runs that site and this is what he told me ... " Usually the parallel versions come in reducing numbers but all 150 base cards will be included across all parallel versions. Green could be unnumbered but they would be short printed as they're called, the red cards might be numbered to 50 - 50 versions of the card each one numbered 1/50, 2/50, etc. Yellow might be numbered to 25 cards per player. I hope I'm making sense. There's no information at present but Premier Gold collections usually including printing plates, they turn the coloured metal printing plates into cards and these are obviously one-offs - four different printing plates for each card. I've got 17 of the one issued for our one and only PL season. I originally got four of them, one of each colour but a friend has been getting rid of his collection of Cardiff City stuff and I paid just over £100 for another 13 printing plates - a bargain at that price.Panini just issued 2017 Immaculate Soccer in the United States. There's one Cardiff City player in the collection, even though he's in Iceland colours. The base cards are numbered to 75, there a bronze version numbered to 25, a gold version numbered to 10 and a black version with is a One of One. I've just bought three versions #/75, #/25 and #/10. The 1/1 card will go for big bucks if it ever comes up for auction."Sounds VERY expensive to me!

My thoughts precisely, but until someone from the club takes these people to task, then it will continue. Especially with pillocks like me buying the stuff! Incidentally, I have said the very same every home game as I walk from my car to The Peacock and pass a business charging people to park; they use a sign advertising their space for £5 but also use a Town - I wonder whether they have paid for that privilege as they merrily charge folks for parking?

Bought the Merlin stickers book from Tesco's simply because Town appear in it (might be the only occasion!). £2.00 and you get three packets of stickers in there. Opened up - Depoitre in the first packet! Three chuffin' Burnley stickers out of the fifteen - what??!!!!! I wasn't going to collect the complete set, but ...

Im in. Sort of pretending Im doing it with my lad but truth is its just for me really. Always wanted Town to be in these albums when i was a kid, so npw they are i couldn't resist. That moment of excitement when you tear open a pack is still totally addictive!!

We'll have to get a DATM group sorted.

I’m with Slapper, using my 2 year old’s love of stickers as cover (he’s not allowed to stick them in though!)
Got the Town kits in the first packet. Lovely.

Stupid question really since I already have three (which came with the book, remember) but how much are the packets? And they only have five stickers in, right? Sometimes promotional packets have a different number in.

Wow! Come a long way from 6d in 1969! So, 354 in the set, 5 in a packet at 60p ... That's just over £42 for the set, provided you get no swaps/duplicates. I can see why full sets are selling on eBay for £50+

We'll have to get a DATM group sorted. I've got my Year 7 and 8 classes on the case already The older boys don't collect them anymore, but the younger lads are avid collectors and swap them like mad. As the majority are big club supporters (United, City and Liverpool) they're not bothered about the Town ones but they know 'Sir' is. In their eyes: 1 x Kevin DeBruyne = all the Town squad plus the foil specials (which to be honest, is about the same in real-life values!)

I can see why full sets are selling on eBay for £50+ I know this kind of takes the excitement out of it, but can you literally just buy the complete sticker set for the book? I get quite impatient with these things, and from something I once read it can end up costing you an absolute fortune to complete by chance.
