Looking at it from a slightly different perspective .. tomorrow huddersfield town are playing their first game in the top division for 45 seasons ... how cool is that ? I have to admit I never thought I'd see it happen in my lifetime ... all the rest is just peripheral

Looking at it from a slightly different perspective .. tomorrow huddersfield town are playing their first game in the top division for 45 seasons ... how cool is that ? I have to admit I never thought I'd see it happen in my lifetime ... all the rest is just peripheral It's certainly not appropriate for this thread - go and be happy elsewhere. Have been looking forward to regular discussions about Town on Football podcasts where in the past we've barely gotten a mention (as they're generally Premier League centric). Listened to the latest Football Weekly last night where they previewed all the games for the coming weekend - except Palace v Town.
To be fair they mentioned us ever so slightly (where a couple of guys said they thought we'd surprise everyone by staying up) but that was it!
Still too unfashionable I guess

Yeah they're a bit hit and miss with their presenters (which as never bothered me before because James Richardson made it worth listening to). It's either Paul Doyle or Paul McInnes who's from Norwich... I can see myself growing tired of FW sooner rather than later - not that Jimbo's new podcast was all that great this week either. Seems they've turned 1 excellent podcast into 2 mediocre ones. Ho hum. |

Is everyone going to sit in their reserved seat in south stand or will it be a free for all?! I stood in many different seats in there for many seasons. I'll be outraged if I get asked to move this season.

In London now - price of ale, FFS! Went to a place near Marylebone for a pint before the play off final. Can't remember how much the round was but I nearly had a gripper when the barmaid gave me a very meagre amount of change from a £20 note. |

There's nothing on that list I can moan about. I've got a bad back, piles and no teeth so I can't stand up or sit down or eat a pie. I've got no car so I can't matchday park and I'm that skint that I can't afford to buy the Examiner, visit the club shop or bribe a match official. We'll probably win 2-1 tomorrow and that'll be nowt to moan about either. I'm a Yorkshireman in his sixties with nowt to moan about. It's not fair.

Am hugely disappointed the club isn't paying my travel costs + providing me with a ticket at £5 for the Palace game for me and my son - what are they playing at?!
Also, disgusted he is p3 and me p1 so we might not be able to sit together - what problems could there be with 20k season ticket holders chasing a max of 3k tickets for most away games?!
Also- sky are gits! Newcastle at home on a sun lunchtime, west ham on a mon night, spurs sat lunchtime, man city sun tea time - very inconsiderate.....far too much power for £c100m pa......booooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!
When are we signing Coutinho? Messi? Get some money spent Hoyle - 40 odd million in one summer is particularly dreadful and smacks of no ambition!
As for Wagner - to be honest there is nothing I can think to moan about re the Germanic genius!!!!
